“Great deals, takes a little time to check it all out and be ready to compate to the prices you pay elsewhere. Mot always the same thing, but my roommate walks me it's cheaper. So I buy shampoo & cream rinse cheaper here for some popular expensive products! I like to take my time to save money here , as I always need to. They do have some good deals. BUT, no push mowers!”
“Losts of discounts, the only negative is you have to look at the dates. Most items are out of date. We've gotten chocolate from there that was so out of date it didn't taste how it's suppose to and it was discolored and chips that tasted dusty. Most of our experiences buying here were good though and their freezer items are usually priced very nicely as well as many of their first aid and toiletry items. We really love going here because of the discounted prices
Every once in a while they also give items away if you buy so much. We once got a blanket free for buying over $100 worth of things”

“This store on Maricamp Rd. in the Shores is the best one around--cleaner, better stocked, nice staff (several have been here for years!) It fits in with the neighborhood shopping picture in that they have some things that aren't the same as the others (their Deluxe American cheese is better than anybody's store brand.) Every week they have some meat items on sale, and their own brands like Tipton Grove real OJ are things I usually take home. Their large canned soup varieties are good also. This particular store has pretty good produce--esp the yellow and zucchini squash. Their own brand of eggs also good and inexpensive. I like shopping at this Sav-a-Lot.”

“I visited the Dollar General store located in Marion Oaks this evening and noticed some serious safety issues that need to be addressed. Upon parking, I found the parking lot to be very dark, which raises significant safety concerns for both customers and employees.
On a positive note, the store itself was clean and well-organized, with everything neatly put away. However, I did notice several empty spots in the cold and flu aisle, and I couldn’t find Benadryl liquid, which may be an inventory issue.
Additionally, I would suggest that the employee behind the counter pull her bangs away from her face for better visibility, as I believe it’s important for staff to have clear lines of sight while working. That said, she was very pleasant and helpful during my visit.
Overall, I would recommend this Dollar General, but I encourage customers to be aware of their surroundings due to the darkness of the parking lot.”
