This place is amazing. They picked up my car from Palm Chevrolet because they suck, they lie, and they price gouge. CHECKMATE towed my car out, took it to their shop, and fixed my car for half the cost. The mechanics and the office staff were all amazing. Great work

I've been going to Checkmate for years. I've never had a complaint. I appreciate Mikes honesty and his crew is great. Thankfully for them my truck is back up on the road with cold AC. Like always I'll recommend them any time.

Mike and his team are fabulous! They worked us in when we had an emergency while on the road from Orlando to Chattanooga over the New Year’s weekend. We were referred by Auto Zone where we picked up the part and Mike dropped what he was doing to fit us in and we were back on the road in less than an hour. We are so grateful to them!

Took my truck there multiple times they didn't do a damn thing to fix the issue. Still acting up so I'm not going for a third time. Sad really. Long story short they aren't as experienced as they claim. I don't even think they did anything to my truck just charged me almost 800 bucks for me to be stuck with a non working truck. I actually thought I could trust these guys a good friend of mines recorded them. But oh well.

My only complaint is that there aren’t more stars so i could give them an even higher review. Took my 1996 c 3500 dually in for the a/c to be fixed and they did a fantastic job, so I decided to go ahead and have them wire up a light bar on front and rear bumper. Did the work in a very timely manner and also cleanly done, not sloppy at all. Great family business. Thoroughly impressed with Mike and Nick. I will be driving all the way to them from Dunnellon just to know that I’m not getting taken advantage of. Much thanks to you guys.

Great shop, would highly recommend. Spoke with Mike about having a valve lash adjustment done and few other things on my 6.7 Cummins and he gave a great price and quality work. Hard to find a good shop these days, would recommend Checkmate auto repair to anyone. A+

I can confidently say this shop does not operate with integrity. If you are looking for knowledgable mechanics, or honesty this is not the place to go. I am sure this business will not be around much longer. Do yourself a favor and support a business that actually cares about their customers
