the food was good & came out fast but the service really impressed me. The guy at the register was super friendly & out going so was the girl on drive thru; just felt they we were glad we were there

Quick way to get some really good battered, fried fish, shrimp and clams. Their drive-thru is quick and easy. The food is great and the prices are more than reasonable. Food quality is always consistent - really great! Employees are always friendly yet "on-the-ball." Will be going back over and over again.

I love the fish meals. The coleslaw is very very good and the corn tastes buttery with a sweet edge to it. Their cheesecake is surprisingly good. I was quite shocked because...well it's a fast food place! My husband enjoys the grilled fish, while I enjoy both the regular batter and the country batter. Tonite (8/14/20) I tried their lobster roll for the first time. While it was edible, it needs some help. A "buttered-grilled" roll would be nice AND make it ALL lobster meat and seasoning it better might help. Price it accordingly. People will want 100% lobster meat AND they will pay for it. NOT THE MIXTURE your currently offer.

I have enjoyed my "fast food" purchases at Captain D's. The Fish is delicious, that corn on the cob was to die for and really good coleslaw. For dessert I had the NY cheesecake. It was surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be that horrible Instant cheesecake that some people try to pass off on us unsuspecting customers. No, this was the GOOD stuff. My husband had the broiled fish and I had the regular fried. Stay away from the fries; not good. Fish is cooked to order so be prepared for a little wait. Pack your patience and be kind guys.

Ordered their new Double Double Shrimp + 2 piece Fish Shrimp were small and not very tasty Not much Fish were skinny fingerlings. Taste was ok Service was good If only it looked as good as their Ad on TV !

I enjoy deep fried mild white fish that doesn't smell or taste fishy. The Captain D's Restaurant in Leesburg, Florida is a great place for this delicious meal. The battered deep fried white fish is served as a golden brown, crunchy treat with delicious hot french fries. Each serving also contains their crispy hot hush puppies. The cost for this feast is very affordable and a great value. The Leesburg, FL location is very clean and has great service. Whenever I want a great fish lunch or dinner, I know where to go. Of course, other types of seafood is available at Captain D's, but I always select the crispy hot battered fish with tartar sauce and malt vinegar.

The fish was just barely cooked. We felt like it was pulled from the frier before it was finished cooking. Also there were no crumbles...

Better than fish sticks but no where near as good as battered fish in most restaurants, this restaurant serves fast-food fish that is bit mushy and devoid of taste. It is eatable, however and will stave off starvation.

The food is decent fast food, something different. But it's hard to look past the filthy floor and eating area. Scary to think what the kitchen might look like.

We went there Sunday after church.It was crowded they all get fried fish Special.We always choose the grilled fish because its healthier.Upon till now it was good.But today it was yuck.The broccoli was all pieces of stem the rice was cold and hard and the Fish did not taste the same and cold.We did not choose to send it back because we waited long time allready.They really can not handle the crowd...I am not sure I will try it again.Also they need to clean this place real well.It had a smell when we first walked in.We had to clean our own Table also....
