Gave me a car with no tread on tires, ended up catching flat 3 hrs later, did not have equipment to change tire in it so I had to call roadside and was charged for 129$ because I had to call roadside, let me also add I was rushed out so they could lock up after handing me the keys

I really miss when the customer service was important.Here is my experience with this car rental company.I made a reservation for a small car for my wife and me vacation weekend.It happened that they didn't have any small car at the pick up time, in stead they offered me a V8 pick up truck. I didn't have a choice so I agreed, but, when I started the engine the fuel gauge mark empty so the solution they gave me was to return the car empty how this make any sense? I would take any refund for the gas I come back with, for example.But how can I returned back empty w/o the risk of run out of gas in the middle of the road?Then I said, no thank you, I better drive my own truck.They supposed to have the small car ready in the first place, that is the function of the reservation.Well, that's how it used to be...

If I could give it no stars I would. The experience was horrible. They put me in a vehicle with a nearly dead key fob, a tire with a screw in it that I had to keep airing up and the breaks were grinding.I ended up having to waste over 2 hours exchanging the car at my destination.There were caution lights flashing all over the dash during the drive due to the tires and the sensors were not working properly and kept sending error messages and caution signs.The pick up desk was horribly rude. They would not get a different car for me and toldme there was nothing they could do about it. I had to take what they offered. They did not clean the car there was someone else's paperwork in the vehicle for a jobsite. There was something sticky all over the shifter area and the car smelled horrible.I felt extremely unsafe in this vehicle.Worst service ever from this location.

Reserved a full size pick up truck months in advance. At time of pick up, had to wait for truck to be vacummed and washed, truck was not ready for pickup. Vehicle had lots of prior exterior damage. Paperwork indicated full tank of fuel, but fuel gauge indicated 1/2 tank and had to go back inside to have this corrected. After driving less than 100 miles, the Change Oil indicator popped up on the dash. This was a 12 day rental. Not the smoothest of rental experiences, but not the worst.

The rental service is ok but their policies are unacceptable. After returning a vehicle at closing hours (which was the agreed upon return time of my rental) I was charged and extra 100$ in ‘late fees’ even though it was clearly stated that as long as the car was returned on time (which it was even though the rental agency is closed) there wouldn’t be an issue. I often rent from Budget and I’m disappointed in the handling of this particular situation and will definitely be looking at other available options in the future

You guys have lost us as customers!! Sent me off with a vehicle from Florida to Virginia with bald tires and one had an air leak that I had to put air in every other day of a 7-Day rental. I had to go to 2 different locations and use up hours of my family vacation only to end up at the Norfolk airport where they finally gave me a dirty replacement rental!! Oh and if you call to speak to a local representative they always send your call to a call center in either Mexico or Texas or somewhere else!!! Unacceptable Budget/Avis

Horrible experience. Reserved a Ford transit and got a chevy express. They charged my card twice. They never told me about a $200 extra charge until after they ran my card. The van was in bad shape. Air vents were broken. Steering wheel was way off center which sucked while driving on the interstate. The sliding door was damaged and hard to open/shut and had holes and didn't seal, causing alot of wind noise. Turn signal light was out. Tire light sensor kept coming on. All the tire pressures were way off. Definitely not worth what I paid for. Don't recommend using them and I won't ever again.

The staff at this location were very professional and courteous. They took care of all my needs in a fast and timely manner. I had an emergency and had to extend the rental twice hassle free. By far the best service I've ever had. I highly recommend them.

I use Budget a lot as a FastBreak customer due to the convenience of doing most of the process before reaching the counter(in app) my process is usually very smooth. Not so much at this location. And when I asked a question about a process I was not familiar with I got a snide remark from the representative basically saying if I didn’t give her what she asked for I would not get the car. Drop off no one was out side to greet you so I parked the car took keys inside and got a text the following day (24 hrs after)saying my car was just checked in.

First at Ocala counter extremely personable agent..first car had a mechanical problem and Budget did not hesitate to exchange cars for us..Smooth service all the way through.

Expensive to rent and insure the car. Long wait even if you reserve a vehicle—there was only one worker on that Sunday. Got upgrade to SUV, nice but realized later the plate was expired.

Cars are not well maintained at all. The first car they tried to give me had tires with all worn out treads. I did not feel safe driving my family in that and she apologized and gave me another car. (The deal online was get 35% off and get a free upgrade when you rent a intermediate car which i rented but the tires were worn, so they gave me another one but wasn’t upgraded) tires were fine but the inside smelt bad, seats stained, ceiling stained and it made a squeaky nose when I put it in park …the worst rental I’ve ever been in. When I told the lady this, her response was “sorry about that, the car is about ready to be sold out, just a few hundred miles to go.” Wow, that’s just great not to mention how do they sleep at night renting out cars with no tire treads. Totally unacceptable.

Don't use Budget car rental. Hidden fees, money grabs, website failures, poor customer service (via phone). They made a difficult situation worse at every turn.

Rented a car for 1pm arrived at 1:30. I was told upon arrival that there were no cars available, 2 were just returned and I'd have to wait about 25 mons for them to be cleaned. 30 mins later we ask again how much longer? I had a medical procedure to attend for a friend with cancer. At this point we had been waiting 30 mins which was 1 hr past my reservstion time and was told it would be another 15 mins. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and explained himself however the women working the counter hates her life and it shows. This is a management issue. When I returned the car the next day he was telling another guest that he had to turn down 19 people with reservation already that day. It was 2PM!! I get it being the weekend before a holiday but it's one thing to take a reservation, the point of a reservation is to keep it. This isn't exceptable. Oh and I missed the procedure I was in town for. I saw my friend in recover, this should have never happen.
