Blossman Gas just sent a person out to inspect my prpopane system for transfer of service from Amerigas to Blossman because Amerigas changed my service to an unknown individual without my authorization then removed their tanks without reimbursing me for the gas that was in there when they took over the account. The Blossman inspector said my entire system must be replaced but refused to give me a written report of each alleged code violation and the source of the regulation controlling residential gas installations. He also said that Blossman has no obligation to report existing violations, that endanger residents, to the Florida professional licensing authority. Demand a written record of each and every alleged violation found by any gas installer, and report the violations that existed when a company connected you to propane or natural gas. [email protected] COB Monday 29 March 2021. Providing Your management an opportunity to resolve this issue by then. After that, I will 0pen a can of worms that Blossman never get closed in the State of Florida, and hopefully nation wide. I will be attacking this issue from the top. The balls in your personal court. Good Luck with that. Have a nice Day Charley Callahan Mr losasso As my only current known contact representative of Blossman Gas operating and licensed at 526 NW 21ST Street Ocala, FL 34476, I am reporting to you that your technician scheduled to install a propane tank found a number of serious code violations with my propane installation at the my property located at 7075 West Riverbend Road, Dunnellon FL (Citrus County) 34433. He stated that "the entire system must be replaced". Amerigas recently (within the past two years) reassigned my Florida Public Utilities Gas account to an unknown person without my consent as the owner of the afore mentioned property. I view Amerigas action as a violation of Florida statutes and intend to see that Amerigas is prosecuted and/or their license suspended as Florida statutes and license commitments permits. Your technician who arrived at my residence, on this date, at approximately 10AM EST refused to document the violations of NFPA and other recognized standards he verbally cited on an invoice or other Blossman Gas official document. He also stated that Blossman Gas has no responsibility to report the numerous violations he discovered to the Florida licensing authority. I have not completed the research to date, but I believe that Blossman Gas has a license requirement to report the violations that existed when Amerigas installed their tank. Regardless, I will expect a written report of each individual violation and the bases in code, ordnance or other controlling document, identified by your service technician today, March 26 2021, forthwith. If after, five working days, I have not received a full written report of the violations detected by your representative, I will so note the refusal to cooperate in my complaint regarding Amerigas to the States Attorney, FL Licensing authority, FL Attorney General and other appropriate regulatory organizations. I will also consider filing a civil suit based on the endangerment to myself and my property created by Amerigas and further existing due to Blossman Gas refusal to report these violations to their Florida state licensing authority. I will employ the print, TV and public media to warn other Florida residents of the potential danger created by licensed fuel providers who do not adhere to regulations and codes which control their activities and the refusal of Blossman Gas to report the violations they encounter, specifically naming Amerigas as knowingly putting my property and myself at risk and Blossman Gas as witness to said violations and endangerment.
