This branch is a Solutions Center. It's more of a place to speak to someone fact to face regarding account(s). No drive thru service and no bank tellers ONLY Account managers.

5 stars for this branch and David. I was having technical issues with my account and spent hours on the phone with the national customer service line; David resolved my issue in under 10 minutes while being empathetic. Thank you so much

Very good customer service. I went to open a checking account and lobby was closed. They assisted me with opening an account through the drive through.

I urge any potential BBVA Ocala Bank 2 beware of bait & switch. I have about a quarter million dollars n a money market, originally @2% interest. The interest seemed 2 decrease each month until it became about a 10th of 1% a year. Today, during 4 calls 2 Customer Dis-service, & to the Maricamp Branch office, I was told FOUR different rates which my account was being paid. FOUR ! Wait times 4 Customer Dis-service r astounding. One is rather stupid 2 tolerate this. Go where u r treated best ! I will go ! Beware. Respect urself. Go where u r treated best.

This is a horrible bank with very bad customer service. Had fraud on one card then they supposedly sent me another card but it never got to me and it was compromised. They allowed someone to verify my information to use my card that I never received in the mail. This new card was never shown on my online account. I called the fraud department and I was bounced from department to department and no one knew what to do.  I have been going back and forth with this company for months. I should have known when their website was not user friendly and had a hard time paying your bill online that it was a major red flag. How can this bank still be in business with customer service this bad? I take for granted excellent customer service that places like Discover and American Express has until you encounter a bank like BVAA. Very rude and I had one even hang up on me. Welcome to the jungle. Use them at your own risk. You have been warned by me and there are several reviews that will tell you the same thing.. Should have read reviews prior to applying but honestly never though a company can be so bad. I am sure there are individuals that work there that are good people but that company as a whole is simply rotten.

This bank has awful customer service, will charge you late fees even if you pay your bill on time. CSR's will literally argue with you, lie to you and tell you there is nothing they can do. Keep your money and credit away from this bank.

I'm nearest to this location but my review is related to BBVA online service. I'm currently writing this as I'm on hold, now for over 21 minutes and counting. I open account several months ago. First I wanted to have auto pay which I thought was already setup when I opened acct. I never received a bill, the first two months, this may be more on post office than BBVA which was arbitrarily forwarding my mail to my CA address. Regardless BBVV doesn't make business easy. It seems I can't pay on credit card autopay now without using snail mail to set up autopay, I don't use snail mail! Finally they set up online payment via my Chase acct but that can't be verified for several days as they have to verify by depositing a dollar and withdrawing a dollar first. They only let you pay them 1000.00 a day. I can't believe I signed up for a credit card company that has such archaic blocks for accepting money. Called local branch which is 25 miles away & they can't take my $ unless I go with a check to the bank. Of course I don't have any checks as all my bills are autopay. I don't need a company that can't update its services & keeps me on the phone for hours, still not willing to take my 8700.00. I have many credit cards and I've never had a problem with them refusing $, crazy! Everything thing they do requires days of delays to accomplish. 7/9/18 After making a payment of 8700.00 plus on bill and another 371. 00 BBVA owes me 244.51. The bank continues to demonstrate sloppy work. They sent a late payment remark to the credit bureau while owing me money. I was told if I pay early that may cause problems & I needed to pay on the billing date not early. I was being charged 1.00 billing fees in what appears to be an arbitrary manner. I asked for them to send me a check for the money they owed me and was told I'd have to call back on the 19th of the month to request this! I had to make 3 calls today as every time they put me on hold I was disconnected and was told the previous employee didn't make a note of the call yet I could hear them typing. I asked to speak to a supervisor and not to be put on hold to avoid disconnection... I could hear continued typing and no request to supervisor then she (Jamie) said she would call me back on the 20th to arrange returning overpayment. I doubt that will happen! Plus the first two people should of called me back after I was disconnected but that level of self responsibility is too much to ask for. It sounded as if all calls were coming out of Columbia at this time of day. 1261386 if latest confirmation number. I would suggest no one choose this bank as it's more work than it's worth. I certainly don't plan to charge anything else on this card.

Stay away from this place. Your money is not safe. This is a foreign bank screwing the American people. They are cheats & thieves. The management is incompetent & lazy. Bank here & you will regret it.

OUTSTANDING Bank for Checking. I've got an Interest-bearing Checking account and everything is clockwork. Setup was a breeze, once logged into your account, linking External accounts for fast transfers (in and out) is also very easy (and fast). Debit card arrived quickly, as a bonus, you can have a personalized Debit card, with your photo (also arrives quickly). There are some nice financial tools on the site, you can track spending in your accounts, mortgages and cards from other banks as well. The mobile app is solid, allowing almost all functions that are available on the website. Interface is clean and simple. I've seen the negative reviews on BBVA Compass but don't understand them. I'd recommend them strongly for Checking and Savings. As a NICE BONUS, they do not do a Hard pull on your credit, when you apply for an account. I don't think they even run Chexsystems. So if you want a good checking account and have 25 bucks to pitch in, you're in. Note of Interest: Compass also owns Simple Bank, one of the most remarkable, forward-thinking and FUN banks of all (seriously). No fees, no tricks, no branches, purely mobile, straight-forward and FUN. I've got checking accounts, savings and debit cards with both.

Very helpful and the drive through lady always knows my name (even though I can't remember hers). It is a pleasure to have our accounts with them. When we do have an issue they work with our concierge team to resolve it quickly which I greatly appreciate.
