So my Ole man's truck transmission went out, and had a1 transmission do a rebuild and they didn't even do that, and now the shop owner Paul Camargo, said that the shift cable needs replaced, and it's at most $80 part and we're being charged almost $500 for it, after we got the truck back the first time with a one year warranty or 12,000 miles with ever comes first, we had the truck back for 3 DAYS, and the transmission went completely out, so $3000 gone, and they are not holding up their end of the warranty, and this is the second time they've had his truck, and every time I call they something completely different than before. And they have done that with us for the past month, and we have had multiple quotes, all for different prices, and we still don't have our truck back and we're out of even more money. And come to find out, when they supposedly fixed it the first time they zip tied the shift cable and we weren't told about it till today, like why not tell us everything straight forward. I highly recommend that nobody use this shop any longer!!! FRAUD

A couple weeks ago, a friend and I took a trip to Tallahassee from the West Palm Beach area. On our way home from Tallahassee, we decided to visit a friend in Ocala. As soon as we got off the highway in Ocala, my “check transmission” light came on… we still had a three hour plus ride home.
This is when we met our superhero Paul, owner of A-1 Transmission ?
It was late on Monday afternoon, and we could see that his shop was very, very busy. At first, he said he really didn’t have time and when we told him our story that we were basically stranded in Ocala, he said give me 20 minutes. He came back and took my car for a test drive and advised I needed a new transmission, and he could have it fixed by Wednesday afternoon – we were thrilled! Then we had no transportation to our friends’ house, Paul offered and gave us a ride to her place.
The transmission was fixed on Wednesday afternoon as promised. Paul drove back out to my friends' house to pick us up. He certainly went above and beyond to assist two ladies stranded!!! Paul said he has two daughters and would hope if they were in a situation we were in, someone would step up and help them!!!

I had my 2019 Dodge Grand caravan with transmission problems I bought it to A1 transmission and evaluated it. He gave me an estimate that the cost would not go above $2500. A1 only fixed what was needed. When we went to pick up the vehicle he said that will be $3,000. When we reminded him that he had stated $2500 Max he quickly lowered our bill to match the quote. The van is working very well and we are quite satisfied. We will definitely bring further business to A-1 transmission.

I arrived and quickly discovered that there had been a confusion with my appointment. Paul made sure that my car was immediately moved in to be serviced regardless of this. Within about 4 hours my car's AC was back to working properly and I couldn't be happier because of Florida's hot summer months coming up. Thank you to those employees who quickly fixed my AC!
