Had the worst possible experience for my son today. We have a maternity photo shoot for my wife and went to get a trim so that he looks good. The stylist was nice and friendly but she completely messed up my son’s hair. She completely chopped off everything in the front and kept all his back hair. I tried asking her to make sure she was keeping proper balance in the front of back but she had no clue what she was doing. We generally go to the sports clips next door for him and they are fabulous but today they closed and we needed my son’s haircut. Worst part was a very ugly obnoxious lady who was a stylist there and looked like walked in right from a ghetto kept screaming to our son’s stylist “shave it off”, Yeah you should have shaved it off and I would be making you seeing court every week lady and lose your freaking license. I got a hair cut from the same place and an elderly lady took care of me who was really nice and did a good job. To the stylist who cut my son’s hair, please go back to school and learn your trade well. Don’t traumatize kids with these kind of practices. To the ghetto stylist, please quit and stay home. One of these days, someone with a worser attitude will get you fired for sure.

Tamara is amazing! I've been seeing her for almost 15 years, and I'm always thrilled with my haircuts. She's not just a fantastic stylist but also a great friend. Her expertise and warm personality make every visit special.

I have been getting my hair cut here for a few months now and it has always been an amazing experience. Tamara has been the best and always makes sure I leave happy and looking good. If you need a hairstylist who listens and gets the little details then she is your girl. As well the place is always clean and smells great, the other staff are as friendly as can be.

On 6/2/24, I made an appointment and walked in a few minutes early. I wasn’t greeted at the door so I checked in on the tablet and sat down. About 20 minutes after my appointment time, a gentleman walked in without an appointment and my stylist said “I was supposed to have a 5:15 but I guess they’re a no-show.” To which I responded, “I’m right here, I got here a little early.” Stephen apologized and said that he assumed I was a part of “that clan” in reference to a family that was also seated in the waiting area. I presume he thought this because we were all of the same skin tone. We were the only Hispanic people in the establishment. After getting the misunderstanding sorted, he called me back to the chair and began my buzz cut. I noticed that Stephen clipped part of my ponytail when buzzing my undercut and I asked him to stop so that we could see how bad the damage was. He insisted it was “only an inch and not that big of a deal.” I requested a new stylist mid cut and he got visibly upset, saying I was over exaggerating. He stormed out of the store and came back smelling like smoke. Kim took over my cut and I was grateful that she took the time to listen and to re layer my hair even though it was past closing time. I understand mistakes happen, but Stephen took no accountability for his mistake and behaved very unprofessionally.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Steve, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He transformed my hair entirely, achieving the exact color and cut I had been wanting for a long time. Steve even stayed after hours to ensure everything looked perfect. His dedication and skill are truly exceptional. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch hairstylist with many years of experience.

I used to live in Orlando/Winter Garden and Tamara cut my hair for over 10 years. She always did an excellent job cutting and styling it. When I moved to The Villages, FL, I had someone local cut my hair. They did not listen to me in regards to what I wanted and they did a terrible job on the cut. It was choppy, and uneven, and looked nothing like the cut I asked for. It was so bad that I had to let my hair grow out some before I could even consider trying to get someone to fix it. Last weekend I drove back to Winter Garden, 60 miles, to have Tamara do my hair. And of course she not only fixed what the other person messed up, but she did a beautiful job and was able to do the style that I had originally asked for. From now on, I will drive 60 miles Winter Garden to have Tamara do my hair as she is worth every mile. She always listens to what I want and does a great job and gives me suggestions based on the styles I like. The Hair Cuttery in Winter Garden is very blessed to have her.

Paid $50 to get a shampoo, cut, and blowdry. Lucy was very rough through the wash, combing, and blowdrying. I am a little tender headed but it's never hurt this badly. She did start being gentle towards the end of the service, but only after yanking badly enough to make me jump and tear up. My head is still sore several hours later.As far as my haircut, Lucy didn't do what we discussed and then thinned my bangs without asking... Which I did cry about at home, because I already have very thin hair and have been trying to grow it out. Who knows how long that will take to grow back? I couldn't even stop her before she made the cut.I've been psyching myself up to leave my home and get my hair done for weeks, and this experience just convinced me to learn how to do my own hair.

I chose this place because I was on a budget and it was the location open the latest (for me to go after work). I was a bit nervous since I dont get my haircut often and I wanted a pretty adventurous cut this time around. I read some reviews and ended up booking with Victoria. I made no mistake. She was super sweet, really funny, and did EXACTLY what I wanted and more. I am so in love with my new haircut and I will continue to go to Victoria when I need a refresh. She also mentioned shes a color specialist. The place was empty by the time I went, but even the other hairdressers there were talking with us and they were super sweet. I felt comfortable there and I will most definitely be back. Thank you Victoria!! <333
