this station should be closed down. the staff/owners are hostile and treat everyone who stops as garbage, 3 times they have had pay at pump issues and when you try to rectify it the owner or owners b**** argues with you even though you have already paid for gas. avoid at all cost. these foreigners need to be censored and removed from doing business in oakland park florida. plus they're gas pumps need calibrating they do not dispense 1 gallon of gas as the pumps must be off register.

This gas station is s*** ! He started cursing my dad out and treating him like a dog instead of talking to him civilized. It was some guy but ugh! This location is a*** Don't go here !!

We need a ZERO stars option!! This place is a pathetic joke!!! I was heading to work and decided to fill up my tank, and get a snack. Upon picking up said snack I placed it on the counter as the cashier began counting coins. He went from the quarters on down to the pennies, as I awaited a hidden camera show host to come out of hiding! The other guy avoided interacting with me just as the guy started to recount!! I know, fool me once..... but I finally just said screw it and went down the road to another gas station!! Absolute crap service!!!!

This place doesn't deserve 1 star, it deserves 0! It's not only a run-down hole-in-the-earth, the manager is extremely rude and abusive. On a Saturday, his outside credit card swipe wasn't working, I had to go inside and he(I'll spare the details) was insulting and used the f-word and made the middle finger toward me and threatened to start a fist fight. No a I am not making this up. Absolutely disgusting. Do not get gas here. Then after the whole mess, he didn't even have the guts to give his name, he claimed to be the manager.

With Marathon Gas Station located on the southeast corner of Dixie and Commercial, the easiest entry is coming off of Dixie and for exits or entry you have to be super careful going onto or coming off of commercial as with the nearby hump of the railroad tracks, vision is not the best. It's a rather small gas station but also has a simple convenience store loaded with typical convenience items like soda pop and junk snacks. Though fairly clean, it's not much to speak off and you'll often times run into a clear who has real problems speaking or understanding English. Overall you're better off at Speedway located across the street.

I ended up getting gas here because I ran out and it was the only one around. Its a run down small gas station. I didn't want to go inside to see what it looked like. Juts grabbed my gas and ran.

I GOT $5.00 OF GAS WHEN I PAID $10.00 CASH. the foreign speaking employee refused to give me the rest, shut pump off after $5.00. I showed him his own cash receipt for $10.00. He would not honor it. I asked for his name, he refused to give it. I asked for manager name he refused to give it. I tried to show him my almost empty gas gage and the pump showing a $5.00 purchase. He refused to come and look at it. He started yelling at me to get out. I then took his photo to be able to ID him to a manger at another day. He lunged at me and tried to wrestle the phone from my hand. He then ran around the counter to grab me and I had to run out of the store. Pretty incredible. I called the police, who said "its a civil matter" even though he physically attacked me. He sure did not want his picture taken. Wonder why....However, the police officer put gas in my tank at his expense which was really nice. He said let me take care of this for you, and then just go home. Which I did. So, beware the employees, at least the one I had dealings with is violent and cheats cash buyers. Don't pay with cash here. The store inside and out is dirty and there was trash flying around in the wind. Prices are not the best by far in the area. Best avoided. Ladies and Seniors be careful. I ALSO FOUND THIS REVIEW ON GOOGLE, BUT ALAS, TOO LATE FOR ME: Faye Sawatzky a year ago- "We are Canadians who were down there before going on a cruise, we tried filling in gas, but they required a zip code, which we did not have, so we were told we had to put $50 on our credit card before we filled in gas. We then were allowed to fill in our rental car. Our rental car only took $9.49 worth of gas. When we got our credit card statement, they charged us the full $50 for $9.49 worth of gas. Do not go to this gas station. They are dishonest and will take your money. Do not use your credit card." AND THEY GOT CAUGHT SELLING ALCOHOL TO MINORS PER THIS SUN SENTINEL ARTICLE: SO, BEWARE.

Average. Not very nice inside or outside. Speedway across the street looks much nicer. The clientele is iffy at best. I didn't get mugged so that's a plus. This area is cluttered with small strip malls. It's a solid mile or more off the highway through several stop lights. I wouldn't stop here again there are nicer choices all around.

Surrounding several other gas stations this one doesn't stand out much. The interior is quite a mess and is very cluttered.. The gas attendant is not friendly at all. There is two entry points one from Dixie and another from Commerical.. That's slightly convenient. The gas here is often a few pennies more than the others. On this day their lottery machine is not working.. Very frustrating..
