I did NOT to sign up for dog obedience classes here, I only went through the consultation while I was searching for a trainer, and this introduction turned me off completely and made me run in the other direction. Here's why: My ONLY problem with my new foster dog was that she pulled on leash very badly (in a happy way - chasing lizards etc. - NEVER any aggression or reactivity - just the happiest of dogs, an excited foster that was just LOVING life and discovering new smells and things every day on walks). She weighed 60 lbs so when she decided to pull, it was a struggle - I knew I could handle it but any potential adopting parents would struggle, and it was my goal to get her adopted so I could foster another dog - and get dogs out of the shelter.I was told the initial consultation would be about 45 minutes to an hour (where Fritz would evaluate my dog), so I drove my dog up there to the academy, and the consultation was this: I walked with my dog by my side on leash about 30 yards in one direction and then back, while he watched. And that was it!!!!! He did not walk with her, or engage with her in any way, just watched me walk with her and made the decision. He decided that I needed a minimum of 10 classes at $200 each (which shocked me - just to do basic leash training?) - AND he said there would be use of a prong collar. THAT was a shock - I had a HAPPY, sweet, SENSITIVE but strong dog, and using a prong collar was OUT OF THE QUESTION - the fact that HE hadn't even tried to walk with her on leash (even though he knew she was friendly and totally unaggressive) bothered me. He seemed afraid to and I had been hoping to see how HE would walk with her and make her behave better on the leash. I wanted to see HIM in action, so he could demonstrate some skills to me. A prong collar? ABSOLUTELY NO WAY. He kept telling me it's all about commitment (I think really it's about money!), that it would be 3 times a week and WAS I COMMITTED ENOUGH TO DO THAT? I felt almost like I was being reprimanded. I told him it was outside my price range and that I didn't believe she needed 10 sessions and I wasn't in favor of a prong collar. This kind of HARSH training with prong collars may be required for seriously aggressive dogs, but MY DOG DID NOT NEED IT. He only seems to know one way to train dog - with negative reinforcement, and that's not me. I REFUSE to afflict any pain or punishment to a dog that had already been through a terrible life.I ended up using a WONDERFUL dog trainer who ONLY used positive reinforcement and a slip collar - who came to my house for each session and charged 40% LESS - his first consultation was an hour and he walked with her, engaged with her, all with NO PUNISHMENT OR PRONG COLLAR - just kindness - and showed me within that first session what she could be like - within 5 minutes, she was obedient with him (he is really gifted in how he interacts with dogs - he's like a dog whisperer) - and I signed up for 6 lessons on the spot, after seeing how amazing he was because I wanted her to obey me like she was already obeying him. So the training I signed up with was more to train ME how to communicate with HER. I completed four of the training sessions with the new trainer and saw HUGE results - and then a Thanksgiving miracle happened - a young couple down the road who had fallen in love with my dog adopted her! So I donated the final two training sessions to them, so they could put the finishing touches on leash walking - but she was HUGELY improved by then - WITHOUT A PRONG COLLAR, AND ONLY WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT, A SLIP COLLAR, AND KINDNESS (AND DOG TREATS TO REINFORCE HER GOOD BEHAVIOUR). The trainer I got treated my dog like an individual - he designed a 6 session training course for MY dog - didn't just treat her like he treated all the other dogs (10 lessons and prong collars)! It bothered me SO much that Shultz was so quick to insist on a prong collar and so many lessons and was so insensitive to my dog's needs that I feel co

This is the best place to have your dog trained. I did the 2 week on-leash obedience board and train for my 2-year-old Pit Bull and not only is his demeanor is so much more calm but he is doing a lot better at listening to us and obeying our commands. During his 2 week stay K9 Shultz was very helpful and communicative with any questions or concerns I had. They even gave me advice for other things outside of on-leash training and I can reach out at any time for any other help I need. I had full faith that my dog was in very good hands. I 100% recommend K9 Shultz for anyone looking to do any sort of training for their dog!

My experience with them have been nothing but sheer excellence. I HIGHLY recommend Shultz K9 Enforcement Inc for your dog's training. MyGerman shepherd dog has received top notch basic training. And I can truly say that, because before taking my dog to them, he exhibited ""hard headness" disobedience and constant nipping and biting. Once he completed the training, he was more alert to the commands and more calm. The nipping was reduced significantly. I picked up a different dog within the two weeks he was there. I am truly satisfied with what was done. Let me tell you, you won't be disappointed in choosing them for your dog's training needs and care. Your pet will be in great hands!! I promise. Thank you Shultz and my trainer Matt!!❤️

K9 Schultz completely transformed my puppy. She was dropped off to them biting and super hyper. She was not a good listener. After boarding her for 2 weeks and going through training, she is disciplined, sweet, and fun to be around!

So happy we decided to go with Shultz K9, amazing trainers and people. They helped both of my dogs with discipline and behavior. My dogs are now always being complimented by people on the streets and this wouldn’t have happened without Shultz K9. Thank you so much to all the team that helped !!

We brought our 4 month old wild puppy to Fritz for a 2 week board and train. Prior to bringing her in she was reactive and excitable to a point of complete frustration. We have two young boys with nonverbal autism, both on opposite ends of the spectrum and unfortunately for our puppy she was getting mixed feedback and inconsistent corrections which deepened the problem. We also have teams of therapists and analysts that are in and out of the house daily. To put it lightly, her maladaptive behaviors were taking a toll on everyone. After a detailed interview and intake, Fritz and his team took our unruly puppy and returned to me a calm, well mannered and affectionate pup. She had a moment after I picked her up today where she broke from her sit position next to me, quickly corrected herself and sat back down and looked to me for direction. At this point, she is barely 5 months old. She has come so far in such a short period.I am excited to continue training with her and to work with this team in the future.

I am going to leave my review as transparent and fair as possible. I will say my experience started very positive the staff was very accommodating and kind and knowledgeable. Max is an amazing trainer and the office secretary is efficient, kind, and we could not have asked for better. The negative experience came with an interaction with Fritz the owner. After I spent nearly $3,000 on training I came in for a follow up with Max. The time in between my last training session and the follow up was a few months. During that time I had reached out to their office via text and I had reached out to Max via social media regarding a dog that was looking for a home. It had nothing to do with training doing any type of business “on the side”. When I came in for the follow up that Fritz called and offered to me, he approached me mid session and kept repeating that “all business needs to go through the office” and was speaking to me as if I was his child implying that I was doing something shady behind his back by reaching out to a trainer via social media. First of all I like to think I’m ethical and would NEVER try and go behind anyone’s back at their business, especially when I was originally happy with the services I received. I merely reached out to the trainer to let him know I knew of a dog that was looking for a home because the trainer’s dog had recently passed away. I feel like the call to come in for a “free follow up” was a ruse or setup so he could confront me about trying to do business on the side. Sir, you already have my money, I offered Max the trainer a dog for himself personally, I have referred numerous people to your business, and for you to speak to me in such a demeaning and accusatory manner is uncalled for and frankly disrespectful. I will be sure to go back to every neighbor and friend I have referred as well as mine and my dogs combined 15,000 followers and ensure they do not patronize your business. You lost a client who originally was happy with the services and was going to sign up my second dog who I brought with me to the follow up session. Now I will be taking my business and referrals elsewhere to someone who knows how to treat and respect their clients and not speak to them as if they are your child!Update: This review resulted in multiple back to back phone calls from the business which were ignored and text messages threatening legal action along with pictures of the training agreement because they have a clause in their training agreement that says you cannot make “disparaging comments”. I had to block the telephone number and social media accounts to avoid further communications. This is my opinion and it shall stay that way. There is nothing disparaging about my review as it is how I feel I was treated. This review is my honest opinion and I will avoid doing further business with this company ever again.Update 2: It is now how many months after and I am still receiving communications and back to back phone calls from numbers listed as this company and they are being immediately sent to voicemail. My review of the services received from the trainer is positive. The conduct otherwise, not so much. I think it’s funny that I’m not the only one who had experiences of being spoken down to either. It’s a shame because there was so much potential.

Let me start off by saying I did not use this facility for training but I did go in for a consultation. This is mostly for my ladies but this place gave me car dealership vibes. The owner was so rude, kept talking to me like I’m small and kept cutting me off in conversation like he’s so superior. He was very cold towards my dog as well didn’t even pet her at all. I was sharing my frustrations about how I’m having a hard time potty training my puppy and he told me to STOP FEEDING her until she learns. Horrible experience 0/10. Do not leave your dogs with this company.EDIT: It was your facility and you probably don’t have a record of me because i never signed up for your training because you told me to stop feeding my dog. You were in a horrible location behind a bunch of auto places with limited parking. Car dealership vibes means when men belittle women. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

“K9 Shultz, did an amazing job with my Cane Corso-Panther, boarding-training & in private lessons with me. They care a lot & are experts in terms of training & caring for the dogs/owners. I could not recommend a better dog trainer-boarding center. I am extremely satisfied & grateful & look forward to boarding Panther again their soon,” written by Heather Larkin.“After bringing Panther home I am amazed at his progress. His listening skills are far superior, I can leave all my decorative pillows out, he no longer goes near the coach, he is content where I tell him to go.He is glued to my left thigh when we walk/heel, & no longer responds to strangers-engagements(human/k9). So grateful to Mr. Shultz & his expert team.”

Shultz k9 enforcement, was the last option I decided on before giving away my 7 year old Maltese. My dog was not well behaved, aggressive, anxious, not potty trained, and just all around a bad dog. He was creating so much havoc in the household I almost didn’t know what else to do. Thankfully I took the leap to send him to their boarding school program. To say it worked right off the bat would be unrealistic, it takes a village to make a change. Therefore, they provided me with the training I needed as well, in order to be able to bring home what my dog was taught at the school. I stuck to it and put my full commitment and IT WORKED WONDERS! My dog is very well behaved and attentive to the commands I give. He has made a complete 180. I no longer have to refer him as an unfriendly dog to others, and he is pretty much a people pleaser now! I thank shultz k9 for putting in so many hours with this training program and essentially granting me the ability to remain with my dog.

Our dog Stormy was a rescue from the streets and was hesitant and fearful of almost everything. We couldn't get her near a car to take her anywhere and Schultz trainers changed that! Not only does Stormy know commands and how to be on a lead, our family knows how to work with her so we are all on the same page. Definitely recommend Schultz K9!
