Yesterday I went to this Lowe's to remedy a problem with an item I bought there.I bought brackets to install in a wall. While I bought them almost a couple of weeks earlier I didn't realize that the attached packaging that should have held the screws was empty (obviously ripped open) until the day I was ready to do the work.I went to returns and asked if I could exchange the item for one with screws attached. She said that because I didn't have receipt she would not help me. I asked if she could get needed info using the card with which I made the purchase. She said no. The entire time she was very negative and very unfriendly.Finally, I asked if I could have one of the Lowe's bags just behind her so that I could place item in bag so I could shop for screws without seeming like I was stealing something. She said NO.She was determined to give me no assistance.

I moved and have 3 items (unopened) to return that I bought in Tampa. I am not keeping my receipts (I always keep all receipts in a box) because I'm in the middle of moving, and everything I own is in a box. The lady at the return counter said no returns here without a receipt.? I thought that was strange.I called from my car to see if this was correct?? She kept answering and putting me on hold for a manager. I called and got lumber this time to ask if this was indeed their practice. No returns of 3 small unopened items that I bought at Lowe's last week. And he said all the managers were gone for the day. Wow. I will NOT shop at this location ever again.

One of the absolute worst cusotmer experiences of my life. I ordered 4 doors in November 22 --(6 months ago) for a new home I am building -doors for the bedrooms and bathrooms (think privacy). I waiited and waited and waited --they never came. I called and called a total of more than 30 times-each time it was nearly impossible to get through (30 minute hold times then cut off). On one of the times I called I had the miisfortune of having to interact with an associate (Randia) who displayed abhorant manners, rude, aggressive, interupting and accusatory- really disgusting. I have never been spoken to like that as a customer in my life. Keep in mind they have had $1400.00 for 6 months and I still dont have the doors. Due to the way I was spokenn to and mistreated as a customer--I will not EVER shop at Lowe's again. I tried to escalate this to coporate several times but it is evenn mor impossible to reach someone there and they have designed their system to make it so customers cannot communicate with their stores. Today I cancelled the order and asked for a refund--should have done this 5 months ago. Dont shop at Lowes.

Wish I could give negative stars to Lowe's specifically in Florida, Broward County. I bought a fence, gate, and motorized system, only to find out 4 MONTHS LATER that Lowe's cannot fulfill the order.That's 4 months, I've been paying for a fence that will never get delivered. Never should have been sold to begin with, because they don't carry. THEN TRAIN YOUR F** employees to not set the wrong expectations. Terrible customer service they couldn't care less about the client.

The Lowe's website is a DISASTER. I placed an order last night, received an order number and today, the Lowe's website cannot find the order!!!!Calling Lowe's is like going into battle. They put you on hold, you wait 10 minutes, you then hear someone say 'hello' and then the phone call drops dead.STAY AWAY FROM LOWE'S. LOWE'S is PURE TROUBLE and PROBLEMS.You have bee forewarned.

I really enjoyed my experience here at this Lowe's. Being a teacher, their early hours of operations really does come in handy when trying to get something quick before school. I had an idea to paint the cabinets in my classroom and Lowe's had everything I needed to see my vision come true. I walked in having a little idea of what I needed but their team of paint professionals really guided me through everything I needed to know. They offered recommendations and even the best deals they had, so I felt they were really looking out for me. Especially after I mentioned I was a teacher. Creating learning environment for kids that is inviting and exciting to be around is essential to any classroom and Lowe's helped me achieve this goal of mine from start to finish.

This Lowes has exceptionally bad customer service. Their inventory isn't up to date with the items they stock online. They cancel orders without notifying you and send you a refund gift card by MAIL so that all of your money is tied up for a week! I had to order a similar tool which said it would be there when I needed it but it was a "bait and switch" because it later updated to say that it would arrive right AFTER I needed it. Here's the deal: No one is apologetic about these things. In fact, they are insecure and combative. I spoke with a young man yesterday and I repeatedly asked him to allow me to finish my sentence and explain because he was interrupting me and antagonizing me as if I was trying to fight with him. I very sincerely asked for help due to all of the mess ups with my order so far. I simply wanted to see if the item I ordered from another store was in stock at that store. The boy was infuriating. I've really never encountered anyone so terribly antagonistic for zero reason. This Lowes let me down. Only in town for a short while and depended on the craftsman battery set up for the 20v tools they said would be there. Without them, I can't work. To add insult to injury, no one gives a damn about their job or their customers here. Two stars because a young woman 3 days ago showed civility and a bit of empathy agreeing with me that it wasn't right. Otherwise, zero stars for this upside down place.Update: I had to return to this Lowes when I didn't have a car. I met Mary in appliances. Because she acts like a real person truly equipped and interested in helping others, I ended up buying. a suite of appliances. She loves her job. You can tell. You don't have to love the job. You don't have to love me but there is a certain way to treat people that is just common decency. I hadn't encountered that until that day. Actually there were quite a few people who were helpful that day. Raising my 2 star to 4 stars because of Mary.

Big box retailers are pretty much the same all over the country....similar merchandise, similar setup, etc. The people that work in there are the ones that make the difference. I was looking for a DIY Mold kit and as I wandered around, I saw this employee (Michael) and I asked where it was....fortunately, I was in the right aisle and he just took me to the display, a few feet away.He was very pleasant and talkative. He mentioned that he had just replenished the stock a few days ago, so he remembered exactly where they were... Very nice customer service experience. As I walked around the store, I saw a bunch of stuff that sometimes I overlook or forget...furniture, silk plants, real plants, water, tools for the house, tools for the garden, etc.... Nice location right at Oakland Park and I-95.

So on my way Saturday from Point A to my next errand and I pass this Lowe's. Didn't even realize it was here and I do prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. So I park the car and head in for two things White Fly killer and Windex that you attach to your garden hose to clean the outside windows. I found the white fly killer rather quickly I chose a container of the concentrated liquid as I applied the granules to my ficus hedge and it isn't bouncing back yet. It is a little pricey at $69. But less expensive than replacing my hedge. As for the Windex after I checked out the entire garden center I found it with the other cleaning supplies inside the store. The check out process was quick. Only one other person in front of me. Not only is it fast on and out the cashier was also friendly. Will definitely make a mental note to shop here next time I need something to fix or clean my house and garden.

I'm not a big fan of any of the many large home improvement stores in the area. Customer service is weak and so is the variety of plants in the garden center. However Lowe's has Home Depot beat in my opinion.

There was no one to help me.. I asked the lady at register to get the lady but she said she was not allowed to page her only call and the lady didn't have her phone. The lady am talking about is from England or France not sure. But always has an attitude problem. She needs to know how to talk to people but the lady at register was nice and very helpful.
