The worst contractor experience imaginable! I received a quote that displayed best case scenario and worst case scenario. After the first demo day the cost was already $950more. I agreed to pay it so the work could continue. The demo guys made no effort to contain the dirt and dust and as a result the house was filthy everywhere. They also never work a complete day. I was told that the guys would show up at 9:30Am and they would actually arrive at 11 and done at 2:30-3pm each day. I was told that the project would take three days and it took 8. UNBELIEVABLE! Each day after day 4 Jaime the owner promised me the project would be done by the end of the day. Also, it’s impossible to get in contact with Jaime because he doesn’t handle difficult conversations. You will meet him prior to the project work and you will hear from him when the payment is due. He never checked on his guys or saw the completed project. At the end he sent me an invoice that was more than the worst case scenario which had never been discussed. He apologized for all the missteps and said I would be receiving two boxes of replacement flooring and an extended warranty. It’s been over a month and I haven’t received any additional flooring. Some of the flooring is already coming up and I reached out to see if his guy could come out and fix it. He has confirm three dates and the guy never shows up. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO WORK FOR YOU!

I recently had a disappointing experience with JZ FLOORING and its owner, Jaime Alberto Zagazeta. While the initial project seemed promising, it took a downturn when payment issues arose for the workers hired as subcontractors. Unfortunately, it seems that communication and payment concerns were not addressed in a timely and efficient manner.I would advise anyone considering working with JZ FLOORING to exercise caution and ensure clear agreements and payment terms are in place to avoid potential complications. It's my hope that the company can improve its communication and payment practices in the future to create a better experience for both clients and workers.Constructive feedback can help others make informed decisions without resorting to harsh language.

Couldn’t have been happier from beginning to end. Very professional setting up the appointment, met the installer the following day, had an estimate within 2 hours, and had an agreement within the next 2 hours. The following day the installer showed up on time, did a great time in slightly shorter time then was expected, and the work came out great.

Very bad Job done by this company. My original concern was for them to fix the pooling happening in my two patios. Jaime agreed to have it fixed. I paid them over 4k to do this job and when his worker Noel finished I couldn't believe how badly the work was. There is still pooling in the areas of concern and the tile was left uneven. Not only that but the mess they left afterwards was ridiculous. Grout on my walls (that i just got stucco'd and painted), grout on my front door (which i cant get open because grout hardened on the frame), white powder all over my black driveway, trash that was supposed to be removed found in my trash bin, trash bin has white powder stains all over. All in all super messy job. I was very surprised by the bad job because of how he spoke about his company. I've tried several times to tell him to fix the issue but the only guy he has is the same guy that put the tiles originally. I didn't like his work so I needed another person to do the work. He said he was going to give me his insurance information for me to file a claim which I know his insurance isn't going to give me what the job costs. The tile alone cost me several thousand and all he had to do was the job which was fix the pooling and place the tile. I asked him for a refund to hire someone else to fix his poorly done job and he refuses. I will post pictures of the job. Very bad company and very unprofessional. Please don't hire them.

It went very well. The installers, Guillermo and Eduardo, were amazing. Very meticulous in their work and very knowledgeable. Jaime, the owner, was wonderful as well and very responsive. Very good work at a fair price. We would definitely use them again.

Fast, professional, convenient. I texted Jaime the dimensions of my room and the type of carpet I needed replaced. He quickly responded with a general estimate, followed up by having his assistant bring samples to my home to choose from as she measured everything, and scheduled the install. Start to finish, we had our new carpet in less than one week, I think. Quality all the way.

Excellent Customer Service, Sales, Installation and Repair!!!! Highly recommend their services. We had what we thought was a small leak from our dishwasher which damaged a few of our wood laminate floor tiles. Jaime had a couple of guys out right away to pull up the flooring to assess the damage. Turns out the water ran under those wood tiles and we had to have most of our kitchen flooring pulled up. Jaime was very knowledgeable in assisting us finding a high quality replacement for the flooring as our existing flooring was no longer available anywhere, and matching it up would have been almost impossible, given it was in the main area of the house. He found us waterproof hard vinyl tile flooring that looked like real stone that was environmentally friendly. Jerry and his assistant did an amazing job installing the flooring. Our kitchen floor looks beautiful, is durable, and the quality of the flooring meets our high standards.

JZ Star Flooring was very professional, punctual, and communicative. Installer sent photos every step of the way as I was staying with the inlaws during installation. Made me feel really confident that the job was being done, and done right. Installers were also extremely friendly, as was the owner who came out to do the measurements and show the flooring. Cannot recommend this company enough!

Did a fantastic job on my floors both up and down stairs. Installer was super communicative every step of the way as I was out of the house at my in-laws. Sent me pictures of every part of the house as they finished. Cannot recommend enough! If you need your floors done in south florida look no further!

Had J.Z. Star Flooring change the floors in 2 bathrooms. After several estimates, I considered their price to be reasonable. Once I got myself in gear, the processed moved very quickly. The owner, Jamie, is well versed in flooring. His installers were very punctual and kept in touch before arrival. They did a wonderful job. I liked doing business with a small business, it was more personal. I would certainly refer people to them, and I would use them again.

Messed up our floors not once but twice, and has dodged our calls and requests for it to be fixed. Don’t spend your money with this company unless you want poor workmanship with no backup on workWe had an outside inspection done for $400 out-of-pocket to verify what we thought to be true that they installed the floors improperly not putting the correct barrier underneath the floors so the moisture buckled all the floors amongst other problems that have caused the floor chip up in several different areas and they still won’t return calls or come out to inspect/repair.
