Things started off well enough and then I felt like I was left to my own devices. Documents were uploaded with no action taken. Then when I sent a message to inquire where along the process everything was, I was told I needed to provide documents, even though I had already done so 2 weeks prior. Communication lagged.
All in all, a disappointment.

These people got me jammed up with the IRS,paid almost $400 and come to find out they never sent the paper work to the IRS,I had to go it myself, and all I wsnt is a refund,its been a month and I still haven't got it, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your taxes and I only put one star and it's saying five stars

Ms. Elaine is amazing. Professional, and caring to all. I have been going through H&R block for years now and she is the best tax professional I have had the privilege to work with ! No stress or mess, just overall amazing customer service!

I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because a few years back I had Roy Zimmerman prepare my taxes & he did a good job. However, I just had terrible service from Elaine Rosenzweig.For the 2022 tax year, I filed my taxes using H&R Block's online software. When I filed it, the software claimed I would be receiving a large refund; however, over a month later the IRS sent me a notice that I in fact owed them $4500 but the letter was vague. First I contacted H&R Block through their online chat but he wasn't able to help. He told me that since I had previously purchased an Audit Protection plan, I could meet with someone in person so he made an appt for me with Elaine.Not only was she not helpful, but she was downright rude. She kept telling me I did my return wrong, pointing at numbers that the software calculated not me. When I pointed that out, she said the software online was useless & that I should've filed with them in person instead. Then she had trouble finding a certain page & went on & on how I didn't print out the tax return properly. When she finally found the page she was looking for, she didn't apologize for blaming me. Same thing happened as far as my income: told me I did it wrong & when she realized I had done it properly she didn't apologize.Not only was she rude, but she didn't know the answers to simple tax questions I asked her & repeatedly cut me off when I talked.After this experience I think I'll switch to TurboTax for next year....

I had an appointment Tuesday afternoon at for an emerald advance and today is November 17 I still have not got my line of credit after I was approved and H&R Block cannot give any explanation on when this money is going to be on my card This will be the last year dealing with H&R Block
