The store does NOT have updated prices, on the shelves it says one price and another appears on the ticketAlso many products do not have prices and that makes shopping uncomfortable, you cannot go to the checkout every time to ask

If you want professionalism, look elsewhere. The staff is great, but the manager on duty today was about as unprofessional as you can get. A gentleman needed a transaction voided, and the manager snapped at him. The line was held up for 10 minutes or so. She kept arguing with him. Maybe pull him aside, maybe apologize for the delay to get to him (She was helping a customer which is understandable), maybe apologize to all the customers. Maybe something in her personal life had her down, but you cannot bring that type of energy to work. We didn't needed to share in that type of energy. Hopefully this can be handled better in the future.

The different dollar discount stores are getting more competitive, I think. Since Dollar Tree went up to $1.25, I can now see many of the dollar stores still selling items for $1 or less. This Dollar General had some nice items that i needed for the condo, so I got a few value items that would be a lot more expensive at big box stores.Dollar General is headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. As of January 1, 2023, Dollar General operates 18,774 stores in the continental United States. The company began in 1939 as a family-owned business called J.L. Turner and Son in Scottsville, Kentucky, owned by James Luther Turner and Cal Turner. In 1955, the name changed to Dollar General Corporation and in 1968 the company went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Fortune 500 recognized Dollar General in 1999 and in 2020 reached #112. Dollar General has grown to become one of the most profitable stores in the rural United States with revenue reaching around $27 billion in 2019.

Paid for items only to get home and all of my items were not in my bag... Immediately called the store literally 10 times and not one person answered the phone...Highly aggravated... I do not live close by and that was the reason for the call. I was gonna have it put to the side and pass by tomorrow after work... Apparently answering the phone isn't important.

I love this DG. They always greet me at the door. Always fully stocked. The cashiers and other employees give their best customer service. The Caucasian manager is unhappy and aloof.
