“Typical Walgreens located on Oakland Park west of I-95. The inside of the store was very tidy and very well lit. I had a few digital coupons for paper goods and some Walgreen Cash rewards, so I decided to get few things in here. I found lots of varieties of paper goods at different price points, unit price and brands. I have gotten their generic Walgreens paper goods before and they are not bad...not a good as some of the national brands, but not bad, especially when you use something that is quickly going to be dispose of. I waited to check out and soon after, the one register lady called for extra help and a second register opened...it was quick after that. Good customer service.”

“We have had prescriptions filled at countless pharmacies over the years. Typically we don't give much thought about the overall experience. It seems like pharmacists and techs have demanding jobs - juggling a lot tasks with little time to take a breath, smile, and engage with the customers on a personal level. Such is not the case at this Walgreens Pharmacy. It is obvious that this is a hard working team - working at a fast pace with a keen eye on doing things the right way. The difference is that this team exudes kindness, concern for the customer, and a 'go the extra mile' mentality. The pharmacist, Kendra, is really a special person. Today she took the time to help my spouse, Michael, find a coupon to lower the cost of his prescription. She consistently has a positive, helpful demeanor. This modeling sets the tone for her entire team. We are so impressed with two of the pharmacy techs, Alex and Milan. They also are superstars in our opinion and our guess is that the others we have not met on the team are also exemplary employees. “I went to the store and needed help with a Passport Photo. There was a young lady there who was SO helpful and friendly! Also there was a young man named Vladimir who was about to leave for the day, but assisted the young lady AND myself before he left. I was SUPER IMPRESSED. They were FAST! “This post is being made more for a particular employee than the store. I had been to a nearby walgreens to get a picture put on canvas as a Christmas gift, after 3 days of being told my canvas was ready to find out it wasn't, I was told it could not be made at all due to, not having what was needed. I went to this walgreens on oakland and prospect where I met the employee by the name of Grand. He went above and beyond helping me improve the canvas photo via the kiosk. Helped me crop the photo in such away on my own phone that it made the photo fit the canvas perfect for framing. This man spent at least an hour and a half helping me, the whole time apologizing for the amount of time it was taking. But after a week of struggles, he helped me walk out the store same night with a much better product than I knew how to produce. I appreciated Grand so much that I decided to leave this review in hopes that he gets the credit he deserves. Thanks again Grand. Happy holidays”

“This Walgreens is a typical drugstore that sells the usual health and beauty items, candies, snacks, beverages, minor audio and electronic items. The parking lot is ample and well lit. We got some soda as well as some snacks for our condo.The guy at the register was courteous and friendly. A Walgreens that I would return for any future purchases.”

The gas prices are competitive but not cheap at all....there are other gas stations off I-95 where you can get gas for a lot cheaper, but if you are traveling on Oakland Park, this is not a bad choice. It has a small convenience store and it's located near a big Lowe's and several other small businesses.”

“I was visiting friends and decided to treat everyone to some nice empanadas. I called around 9am to reserve 4 chicken and 4 beef empanadas....I said, I would be picking them up in about 30 minutes. The lady on the line said, sure... I am glad I did, when I arrived, there was a line of people getting empanadas and the selection was slim.....luckily, the lady behind the counter had reserved the ones I had called for and that was easy and painless. To be on the safe side, call beforehand....they will put them aside for you.”
