It seems like pharmacists and techs have demanding jobs - juggling a lot tasks with little time to take a breath, smile, and engage with the customers on a personal level. Such is not the case at this Walgreens Pharmacy. It is obvious that this is a hard working team - working at a fast pace with a keen eye on doing things the right way. The difference is that this team exudes kindness, concern for the customer, and a 'go the extra mile' mentality. The pharmacist, Kendra, is really a special person. Today she took the time to help my spouse, Michael, find a coupon to lower the cost of his prescription. She consistently has a positive, helpful demeanor. This modeling sets the tone for her entire team. We are so impressed with two of the pharmacy techs, Alex and Milan. They also are superstars in our opinion and our guess is that the others we have not met on the team are also exemplary employees. “This Walgreens is a typical drugstore that sells the usual health and beauty items, candies, snacks, beverages, minor audio and electronic items. The parking lot is ample and well lit. We got some soda as well as some snacks for our condo.The guy at the register was courteous and friendly. A Walgreens that I would return for any future purchases.”

“This post is being made more for a particular employee than the store. I had been to a nearby walgreens to get a picture put on canvas as a Christmas gift, after 3 days of being told my canvas was ready to find out it wasn't, I was told it could not be made at all due to, not having what was needed. I went to this walgreens on oakland and prospect where I met the employee by the name of Grand. He went above and beyond helping me improve the canvas photo via the kiosk. Helped me crop the photo in such away on my own phone that it made the photo fit the canvas perfect for framing. This man spent at least an hour and a half helping me, the whole time apologizing for the amount of time it was taking. But after a week of struggles, he helped me walk out the store same night with a much better product than I knew how to produce. I appreciated Grand so much that I decided to leave this review in hopes that he gets the credit he deserves. Thanks again Grand. Happy holidays”

“Walgreens are usually pretty terrible but there was a cashier today (short Latin guy curly hair), he was helping this older guy with his gift card purchase. The way he helped him was truly something I had to compliment him on. He was patient, understand, and most of all so kind. As a Latin man myself, I imagine this old man is someone’s grandfather or father or uncle and this cashier took his time to help him. Thank you !”

“I recently opted to get text messages from CVS and suddenly this morning I got a text offering me $5 off any item. I immediately sent it to my card and decided to use the coupon on something that I usually don't splurge on. Got some really good shampoo, a brand that usually I would not purchase, but when the price is off $5, that was not a bad deal. This was a good CVS store with hard working staff placing stuff on the shelves and good inventory of items throughout the store. I opted for the self checkout register and after entering my phone number, and scanning my purchase, my offer came right up....I clicked on it and got my discount...easy...easy....”
