My home away from home for 45 years! Endless years of beautiful memories. This is my happy place. The rooms are spacious, the staff is so kind, it’s literally on the beach. You walk out of the back and you’re mere steps from beach sand. And it’s in a convenient location to lots of delicious restaurants and shopping. My entire family loves the Redington Ambassador and we will continue to stay here until we can no more ❤️
Food and drinks: Check out the Original Candy Kitchen for nostalgic candy’s and homemade ice cream
Noteworthy details: This hotel is set up for the ultimate relaxation

This place is great as long as you understand what you're getting This is a straight-out-of-the-50's timeshare that looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built. If you're OK with that (which I am), then it's a great place to stay. If you are looking for updated bathrooms and marble countertops, this is not your place! It sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and has a really nice pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean. There are a couple of restaurants and shops nearby, but it's by no means in the "center of the action," which again is fine with me. That means no crowds! If you like to walk on the beach, this place is perfect. One day I walked all the way to John's Pass on the beach. All of the staff that I encountered were friendly and seemed to work hard. The main reasons that I can't give this place 5 stars are as follows: there were some minor housekeeping issues with the room. Someone else's hairbrush and makeup wipes were in the bathroom drawer, and there were what appeared to be lipstick stains on the sheets. The next section is specific to the studio units. You really need to understand what you're getting if you book a studio. You are getting one of the bedrooms of a larger 2BR unit. It is a lock-off with a shared main door. You can hear everything that happens in the other unit. This wasn't an issue for me, but may be for many people. Let's just say this is not the honeymoon suite! Also, the unit is really small. There is no real bed, just a pull down Murphy bed, which is fine for a tiny person, but if you weigh more than 100 pounds, I'd guess it might be uncomfortable. Lastly, the fridge in the kitchenette desperately needs to be replaced. It is a single-door type deal so either you have to crank it up to 6 if you want to make ice (but then everything in the fridge freezes) or you have no way to make ice. There are no icemakers anywhere on property (which I find crazy) so you may have to do what I did and go down to Dunkin Donuts if want a cup if ice. This problem could easily be solved with a new $89 dorm fridge in the studio units. Again, this is only an issue with the studios. The studio that I stayed in was also very dark, and none of the studios have balconies. However, you can walk up to the landing area in the stairwells to watch sunrise. Nice view from the 5th floor. I'd definitely stay here again, but if I had a choice, I'd pick something other than a studio. Overall, great walkable beach, nice pool and hot tub, safe area!

Needs some updates & a lot of maintenance. Need updates on furniture & Utilities. Change color of coffee cups Black isn’t a good color when pouring coffee. Fix the things that have been shown to maintenance that need to be Fixed three yrs running and still not attended to. Yet you pay high Maintenance fees to be fixed upon returning to the place.Noteworthy details: Beware there are people who take Shuffleboard poles to there room so no one can play but them.

I have been a timeshare owner at the Redington Ambassador for several years and have been visiting with family annually since I was 12 years old. I can’t mention enough about the amazing memories made here! It’s a slower-paced/family environment but is still really close to many fun things to do. The Amish creamery, good restaurants, John’s Pass and a number of boat tours have been some of our favorites. Amazing place to visit and relax!Rooms: Most units are 2-3 bedrooms. Studios are also occasionally rented. Studios do not have a beach view.Nearby activities: Boat tours, dolphin tours, rock climbing, boating, parasailing, jet ski rentals, aquarium, restaurants etcSafety: Good lighting, regular security, covered parkingWalkability: Sidewalks on both sides of the streets with crosswalks at regular intervalsFood & drinks: None in sight. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Been coming here through years as an owner. Last visit was awful. Bed bugs in the room. Nothing they can do cause the rooms are full. I had an oceanfront and best they could do was move me down the road across the street from the beach. I was told to contact and email someone higher up. But nobody has responded. Not sure if I’ll be staying here again next year. And if I’m being honest it’s outdated and funky. It was just convenient. Let’s see what happens but not sure if my family will be here again. The cleanliness and sanitization really showed this last visit.
