The pharmacist at this location is the absolute worst. Her customer service skills are beyond terrible. She joked about my condition and implied I was lying. I feel sorry for her staff. I'm sure they have to take the brunt of her incompetence. Every single interaction I have had with her she has been unprofessional and makes excuses for her poor service. I agree with the other reviews, calling corporate is a lost cause. This time I will be filing a complaint with the State Licensing Board.

Do not not understand how this location stays in business. If you have a prescription to pick up please do not let it be an emergency... As you will wait in the drive-through for a minimum of 30 minutes. Going inside is a little better however, do not anticipate being greeted with customer service.

Both my sister and I tried to pick up two much needed prescriptions today only to be told the pharmacy was closed because there was no pharmacist. You couldn't put that on your pharmacy recording so we didn't waste our time calling for 21/2 hours with no one ever answering? At least put it on your website. Not the first time this happened. A pharmacy without a pharmacist is like a hospital without doctors. Call another pharmacist in. Ridiculous. Time to change pharmacy. Now I know why there are so many bad write ups on this Walgreens.

THE. WORST. WALGREENS.......if you need a prescription I suggest going elsewhere. This isn't the first issue with the pharmacy BUT it will be my last. Thursday evening 10/7/2021 7:40pm went to the drive thru the pick up an eye drop prescription from our pediatrician from a 10:30am appointment. I assumed Walgreens had the prescription. The lady informed me (at 7:40pm) "it just came through" I asked her how long it would be. She said "it is just me and her so can you come back in the morning?". I should have said no; but I thought there are probably more pressing issues then these eye drops, I can wait until morning. 10:20am show back up at the drive through. They still aren't ready, the man says "it will be 15 minutes can you get back in the drive thru line?". Sure whatever. 30 minutes later the gentleman in the car in front of me goes up to the car in the drive thru then comes to tell me they are COVID testing their car of 4. I said thank you and went inside. Waiting another 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there. Only to then be told our eye drops were over the counter and that "doctors don't know". Ok well the lady last night and you sir could have told me that at the window the 2 times I was there. Instead I wasted 2 trips up to Walgreens and over an hour of my time. When we are at the doctor we assume that when they call in a prescription that it is indeed that....something we need to get at the counter from the pharmacy. Get it together Walgreens on Toledo Blade. Will be moving any future prescriptions somewhere else

I hate this Walgreens! I have to call in my prescriptions monthly and I'm always stuck on hold. Right now I've been on hold 32 minutes and still waiting. A couple months ago I waited on hold for 29 minutes and they hung up on me. I called back and waited another 20 minutes before being hung up on again. I eventually had to call the store manager who went back to put the order in himself. At least he was friendly. The pharmacy staff and never friendly and I dread every time I have to deal with them. Bring back the pharmacies that actually cared about people.

Worst customer service of any place I have ever done business with. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tonight I made 3 phone calls to them about a prescription. I was on hold a total of 90 minutes and was never able to talk with anyone. for 30 minutes the recording said" our ..... are busy assisting other people, there is one caller ahead of you" then switched to just we will be with you shortly" I put my phone on speaker put it down and after an hour had elapsed hung up. when they give you a time that a prescription will be ready you always need to add 2-3 hours more and then you will still have to wait because they haven't started working on it or the pharmacist hasn't reviewed it, they filled it wrong or various other excuses.

Old management was pretty good old pharmacist was very good and helping with filling prescriptions. Customer service was pretty decent. New management is terrible at best new pharmacy techs are under trained new pharmacist have no idea how to order and keep in stock medication's that are needed for the customer. Dear God please don't call them because you'll be on hold average wait time for me over the last 10 phone calls best I've done 15 minutes worst ive been on hold I hung up after 35 minutes on hold. Can no longer find friendly staff to assist in helping items, for your sanity find anywhere else and I mean any where else to go but this Walgreens they are hands-down the most horrid lack of customer service lack of professionalism that I have seen in the city of North Port ever!!!!!!!

Garbage pharmacy. My wife got bacteria in her eye dealing with the red tide at her job. It turned into pink eye. She went to the doctor Wed 08/25 and got a prescription. When she went to fill it at the pharmacy at 3pm, they told her it can take 3 hours just for it to hit their system (had already been 2 hours), but it should be there "tomorrow", despite the pharmacy being open until 9pm. The next day she went back and they didn't have it. They told her to check the website or call to check the status. We did that all day Thursday to no avail. The website wouldn't let her access it (obviously not the pharmacy's fault that company infrastructure was no good), so she had to sit on the phone multiple times per day. The updates were 'pending' on the phone. Thursday turned into Friday, into Saturday, into Sunday, into Monday, and finally into today, Tuesday 08/31. My wife couldn't work because with pink eye you are considered contagious until you get the antibiotics on, and her eye was causing her a lot of pain. I went to the pharmacy at 10:15am and asked about it. They had a side conversation for about 15 minutes that I overheard where they basically said the prescription had been there "since Friday but " 'no one checked it in' (or something to that effect). They then proceeded to tell me "It's an insurance issue, come back later, it usually only takes a couple hours to fix, but we will call or text you when it's ready" (My wife doesn't get email on her phone). I left the pharmacy at 10:35am and ran some errands. I got home at 11:50am and they had sent an email at 10:46am that it was ready for pickup. IT WAS FILLED 10 MINUTES SINCE I HAD LEFT! Why they didn't ask me to stay there and just *PRETEND* to call the doctor/insurance, I have no idea (my wife was on the phone with her doctor trying to see if there was an alternative since the phone updates when she called just kept saying "out of stock, pending". But I basically had to go BACK out instead of waiting originally, or just picking it up on the way back from errands since it was on the way originally. They also never called or texted. We will never use this pharmacy again, and I likely will never use this store again because of it. I'm not going to give my money to a company that couldn't perform the basic functions of their job for almost a week. Absolutely absurd.

This pharmacy is a joke! Had my husband at ER and dropped his rx's off and said I need to run him home but I'll come back. Tech said they would text. Hahaha. I waited 1 hour call and am on hold for ANOTHER hour. I decide to drive there still listening to I was finally next to get answered call and stand in line when finally tech said can I help you. Yes been on hold hour nobody answered phone as you see and my husbands medication I dropped off from ER over 2 hours ago and she replies it's done but needs ckd give 5 minutes and I will call you. I waited to side for 10 minutes got back in line. After 3 customers again in front of me I got tech again and I said my husbands meds have been done and needed signed off when I told her I'm not leaving this spot again until I pay for his meds so get whoever to do last ck bc I'm not going anywhere. She finally gets the meds and says you can contact corporate. I laughed bc if store can't answer call in hour what makes you think corporate will answer? To MANY pharmacies around to go to then put up with the POOR service from Walgreens. Don't have pharmacists trying to do vaccines and fill rx's. Sick and hurt ppl can't wait all that time bc you can't staff your store. Better to close it if you can't take care of the customers properly.

Extremely rude young female pharmacy tech. I called to ask a question about my medications and she was really nasty on the phone because she was stressed out with other patients. Luckily when I had to call back later I got a nice lady to talk to. This store really needs to weed out some of these rude young pharmacy techs
