Perfect place to buy your pet goods. I love that this is a locally owned franchise. Owners are always smiling and welcoming! Usually always have what I need and reasonable prices.

Usually I absolutely love this place and never have a problem with staff but when I called this time asking about a fish policy and the women on the phone wasn’t understanding what I was asking for which was totally okay so I took the time to explain what information I needed about their policy and she continued to laugh at me and say “are you really going to kill your fish to get a refund”. I was really disappointed with the way she laughed at me and wasn’t taking me seriously when all I wanted was an explination on their fish policy due to the fact I bought a fish from there and I noticed there was fin rot on the fish. Other than this the quality of their fish are usually great, they are the only pet store I go to purchase fish.EDIT: due to Reply from the Business. I said over the phone that my fish was looking and behaving sickly after I had literally just bought it and I was worried it could get the other fish in my tank sick and wipe out my whole aquarium, never did I say I didn’t like the way the fish looked. I was mainly upset with the way the women on the phone replied to me and was being rude and snappy and would not give me a straight answer about their fish policy.

My friend bought a fish from here and got home it wasn’t looking healthy. She called to ask about the fish policy and the lady on the phone was completed rude about it. Yes we get it the fish was cheap but it’s still a pet. Seeing the reply from the business with completely opposite information from the phone call I had to give my opinion as well.

This store goes above and beyond any of the "other" pet stores in North Port! I ordered and they delivered the same day with a pleasant smile. So happy to find them on Sumter and Price. Nice people.

Bought a ton of fish. Half of them died so far. We know how to care for fish. One of the fish they sold us had a white spot on its head that looked like an injury. My husband disposed of it before our daughter could see because she loves fish. Came home to more dead fish. They say they have a return policy/exchange, but at that point there is no point to even go back and get more fish when they sell sick fish. I did notice their Betas looked in very poor health while we were there. Sad that there’s large companies come in and wipe out people who know what they are doing and take out mom and pop shops and then sell sick fish. I do not recommend.Edit. It has now been shortly over a week since we purchased fish from here. Sadly our veteran fish have passed too. Now that it’s been this amount of time and we have had more fish die, the fish we bought from this slum had parasites. Highly do not recommend. Also please check Yelp and other review sources, as this place has very low reviews but some how maintained high reviews on Google.

Everyone here is super friendly and knowledgeable. The owner always has a positive attitude, and his associates reflect his attitude. I've been coming here for a couple of years, and I've never had a bad experience. It's always a pleasure to get my pets' food.

I like to get my kitty supplies here. The prices are comparable to the big box stores. They will deliver to my house, which is a bonus for me! They always let me know if something I order is out of stock and offer another option.

Did you know the owner of this store doesn't stand behind the money back guarantee that pet food companies offer? That's correct. If you buy a new food and your pet doesn't like it, you can return it and get your money back from every store on the planet EXCEPT this one. The owner refused to refund my money even after the manufacturer of the food contacted him tell him he needs to refund the money and that he would receive a vendor credit for the item. He still refused. He said I'm not doing it I don't care what they say I'm not refunding the item. I now have to send my receipt along with the UPC from the bag to get my money back. I try to support my local businesses whenever possible but not this guy. Customer service means nothing to this fool, take your business elsewhere because clearly this guy doesn't value his customer.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent variety of products for every kind of animal. The owner even guessed that I was shopping for a rescue squirrel and had knowledge of their care which I did not expect since not many do. Definitely not your cookie cutter pet store!

The employees there were so rude and not helpful at all I asked where the fish tanks were and the girl just rolled her eyes and shrugged and went back to looking at Facebook on her phone!! Then I asked another employee he just pointed never even said one word to me this was by far the worst pet store experience I’ve ever had will not be going back!! They should really consider firing there crew and hiring some different characters!!!!

Will not be going back to this store. Customer service sucks. Not one employee knew what they are talking about so not knowledgeable at all. Walmart has better customer service. All in all the worst pet store and will not be going back. I advise to not go to this store.

BEWARE of the grooming and owner of this pet supplies! I have been a customer of pet supplies grooming/store for many years now in IL and I've had nothing but a great experience. Upon moving to FL my first instinct was to take my dog to my new local pet supplies plus. I made my appointment online as I always do for a standard groom ($59) on 9/12 at 3:00 pm with Colton. I got a text that morning asking if I would like to come in early, I said I could at 11:30 am. I arrive and his assistant/groomer Kaitlyn checked us in and felt my dog (shihpoo) for mats and overall coat condition. She said he felt good and didn't see anything major mat wise and told me the desired cut was not an issue. I had asked to cut his body fur down but to keep his face in the current "puppy" cut style, just trimmed down and to not cut his eyelashes. She confirmed again not an issue and stated back to me what I wanted cut wise. All seemed great until I arrived to pick my dog up. Kaitlyn handed me my invoice which was $89 I saw a charge for a p&g package plus $68 for the standard groom. I asked Colton what the $30 was for, he told me it's a better quality shampoo, nail cut, ear cleaning, and it would help with future mats and that my dog did have some mats on his rear end/back legs. I explained to him that I did not select this service when booking and he "checked" his computer and said I did book it and that it was my mistake. I then asked him why the groom was $68 and not $59 and he said someone just didn't update the website they increased their prices. I then realize as I'm leaving they shaved my dogs body down as requested but also shaved my dogs face down to nothing, he looks awful eyelashes everything gone. At this point I'm not happy. I search my emails and find the confirmation email from when I booked my dog's appointment sure enough, I only booked a standard groom for $59 NO extra services! The email also states "approximate price, will be confirmed at check-in." Neither Kaitlyn or Colton confirmed pricing with me at check-in, only that my dogs coat was good, no major issues according to Kaitlyn. So I call and ask to speak to a manager I'm given "Annabelle" I explain the situation to her and that I have proof that I did not select this $30 service and I was charged more than what they listed their standard groom as, and my dogs cut was not at all what I wanted. She placed me on hold for awhile and came back and said that Colton told her I selected the extra service. Well I reminded her I have an email proving I did not select this mysterious service. So she tells me she will refund me the $30 but I need to contact corporate to have the groom itself refunded. She asks me when I can come in for the refund (I live almost 30 min away) so I told her the next day 9/13/23 she said she would leave a note for the staff. I drive back on 9/13 to get my refund of the $30. I'm met by an older woman (didn't get her name, but apparently she's the owner of the store) and she has no clue what I'm talking about and needed to go talk to grooming. The owner comes back and says that she spoke to Colton and he told her that he had to charge me for this $30 service because my dog was so matted! I'm floored at this point. Colton completely lied to me, then upon presenting proof that I did NOT sign up for this service he then switches his story to my dog being so matted he "had to add this service" I explained to the owner of the store that my dog did not have any issues with his face or ears and her own staff person Kaitlyn confirmed that at check-in I then reminded her of her own email jargon of being told about any potential charges upon check-in which neither of them brought to my attention nor did they call me during the groom to inform me. The owner could care less. Took her employees side stating "he's the best groomer in the area" maybe he is but I prefer to do business with HONEST, kind people and the owner and her groomers
