Came here with the kids and a few adults. Prices are cheaper for residents of North Port with a Valid ID. We came early 1045ish... No line, place wasn't too crowded till about 130. Slides are pretty fun, lazy river is a little shallow but it's all quite enjoyable. Concessions aren't to expensive and you aren't allowed to bring in outside stuff. Support your community and this park and don't sneak anything in. My son (4) really enjoyed the kids section and went down the big slide more than I can count, as a parent you are allowed to accompany your child for the slide if you want. The lazy river has inner tubes that are bottomless and with bottoms so children can enjoy it too. Just try to arrive early so you have a spot in the shade. The place gets packed very quickly after noon.

Attended a private coaches party hosted by North Port Youth Soccer and it was great. The facility is wonderful, clean, lots of lifeguards and more to do than I expected. My grandkids had a blast! We will return.

As you can see in the picture North Port aquatic center advertised to have sunflower hour(for 0-4yr olds) May 1- May 17 on Wednesdays and Fridays 10am to Noon. I drove my 16mo from Venice to the North Port aquatic center on May 17 we arrived around 10:10am and to my surprise they were turning people away because they canceled sunflower hour for a private event. It’s not right to advertise specific dates and then cancel it for a private event. There is no reason that the private event could have started after Noon when sunflower hour was done. There was no one setting up for a party or event. Not a single person in the water park. There were many parents and grandparents in the parking lot with children that were really upset including me and my child. The rude guy turning away people told me they made an adjustment on the website. I took a screen shot of the advertisement on Facebook and would not have thought to check if they canceled scheduled days for a private event. The reason I’m giving more then one star is because it is a nice clean park but this was a really upsetting situation for many people. It’s not easy to lug around 0-4yr olds. It was really hard getting my 16mo back in his car seat after he seen the water park he kept crying “water water water”

This is a great place to go to cool off and enjoy family time. They have a large pool, splash pad for little kids and slides for older people. They do have shaded areas with chairs and lounges, but they definitely could use more lounge chairs and shade. The prices went up this year too. $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents for the day.

Have been here before and it was nice myvexperience today not so much. Kids running around throwing a football knocking into the little kids in the kid area life guard said they cant do anything about it!!!! Should not be allowed esp in the area of little kids and toddlers. Family dress code defiantly not followed. Lifeguards to busy staring at people almost naked then watching the 2 older kids running thru the small kid area knocking each other over and trying to drown each other with hands around each other's necks almost taking out someone's little 2yo. Lack of rules and people enforcing them is going to get someone seriously hurt or possibly killed . Why have any rules or a dress code if it's not followed thru?? Concession Stand was charging people for dried out burnt pizza. Atleast the water was cold.

Other than the young couple that was sitting in the middle of the small kiddy heading pool making out with each other to the point that he had to stand up and "adjust" his shorts that he had on so they could get up and walk away... I almost said something but really didn't feel like it was my place... was getting ready to get one of the "employees" that should be out there keeping and eye on things when they decided to get up and leave the area. Come on REALLY!!!

Today was our first visit. The facility itself is nice and clean. My kids had a great time. My only complaints are that they have limited seating and limited access to any type of shade. It’s 107 out today with the UV index at 11 and they have barely any shade available. Aside from that, we had a good time but we were just too hot to stay any longer than 2 hours with no shade available,

Our kids love coming to the North Port Aquatic center. We enrolled our 2 girls in the swimming lessons and they have done so well with the lifeguards who teach the classes. We really loved Mr. Donovan and hope to see him again soon. We do enjoy the water park area as well for the kids and have stayed for 4 hours before. It’s hard sometimes to stay long because the shade options there are limited unless you get a table under the tent section or privately rent a shaded spot with them. Overall, it’s a nice aquatic center and we will continue to come back.

I love this place ! The only thing that’s changed recently is , they don’t have many of the chairs to lay out in the sun . Last year there was so many ? Now you can hardly find any chair at Al

As a former lifeguard I am extremely pleased with the supervision going on. There are so many lifeguards and they're actually attentive!

They cannot keep up with food at the concession stand for the capacity they let in. We tried 3 times today to get hot dogs and every time they were out and said to come back in 10 to 20 mins. Then when we came back they were out again. There is also a HUGE problem with line cutting for the slides. Every time I got in line for a slide there were kids who cut in front of 15 to 20 people to meet siblings or friends who were at the font of the line. I told one lifeguard and he said "I tried to talk to these kids so many times that is why I lost my voice and can barely talk now". I have been to many water parks and have never seen so many entitled kids. It is very small and crowded so the experience is ruined. We got Adventure Island passes again this year and had a much better experience there this week. Also they don't have ice so bring your own or drinks get warn really quick!Edited: we decided to come and try it again because some friends invited us and had another bad experience. An hour after we came and they closed for lightning but they didn't just make everyone get out of the pool they make you actually leave the premises. Sun n Fun (now Sun Sarasota) and every other pool or water park I've ever been to all just make you get out of the pool and that's it. Not completely leave! If I could give zero stars I would.
