We turned our taxes in and were told there would be an extension filed, but guess not cause now we owe money to the IRS for being late! Terrible, we are done!

I had a phone appointment with the owner, he called me 10 mins early and I couldn’t get to the phone I called like 10 times right after that and I could not get anyone to answer the phone in the office finally a lady answered in a rude tone saying he has my message and will call me back when he can a whole week went by and nothing so I called again and left a message for them to schedule me an in person interview instead no one called me back, so I decided to take my business elsewhere a business who doesn’t answer the phone and don’t care for new customers doesn’t deserve anybody’s business

I have used Mike Lowe for years and I’ve had no issues, unfortunately with this new owner I have had nothing but problems this year. I submitted my tax documents in February and was told there was a three week turnaround time. I had to call three weeks later in order to get my tax return. I was then told my tax returns cannot be filed until my personal pin is provided, which I emailed to them in March. I have not heard anything and assumed my taxes were filed. I was called today by this office, April 18, the tax deadline and told my taxes had not been filed. It has been two months since I sent my forms in. They were quick to collect payment, however as of me writing this review my taxes have not yet been filed. I do not recommend this office. There’s no accountability, completely unprofessional!!!

Off of a recommendation we chose this office 8 years ago and have been grateful for the work they do. This year we learned that Mike Lowe had retired a couple years ago, we were unaware of this because we didn’t notice any change in the operation of the office keep up the great work!

BIG RED FLAG! The original owner Mike Lowe was great. New ownership under Jack Levy, CPA is a scam!!! I had my taxes done in 2019 with them and will never do my taxes here again nor would I refer anyone here!! First, I waited three weeks before they called me back to set up an appointment to meet to do our taxes. Moreover, our tax preparer lied to us!! There is more I could say that raises a huge concern in reference to my experience but I'll leave it at that. This company should not be in business. Would give zero stars but had to give it one to post a review.

I was in shock when I saw these reviews. The first thing that came to mind is that these are false and written in hate. I have used Jack Levy CPA for 7 years now and continue to use his services since he moved to North Port. He is an excellent accountant, he has saved me a lot of money, his fees are standard, he’s extremely knowledgeable in all areas and even helped my friends with their tax issue.I cannot believe people are writing that they were scammed..... these is an awesome accountant.

Beware. Con Artists. They took advantage of me for having a disability. I paid them for preparation services. Got audited becuase of there mistakes. They didnt offer any help at all. Didnt answer my emails of phone calls. SCAM artists.

We went into Lowe's office because we have had an LLC formed by Mike a few years ago, and he was great. We returned to form another LLC this month and Jack was the person to "help". He asked a couple questions and charged us $350+ and we were on our way. I expected as before we would get a return call to get the articles of operation, a very necessary part of "forming" an LLC. Of course legalzoom is cheaper but for future amendums, ect, we opted to use a "professional". We didnt receive the paperwork and called him, asked to have the articles of operation emailed. He sent an email saying it was the articles of operation however it was the webpage from sunbiz. After calling and emailing the secretary said they dont do that for LLC's. We eventually got Jack on the phone and he stated he would do it for $75. I ALREADY PAID FOR IT, AND I THOUGHT YOU DIDNT DO THAT!! Anyhow, terrible deal, feel ripped off. And the words Ripped Off and Accountant together are .....welll.......
