Worst service ever. One person working the entire facility. Have to make an appointment for a drug screen for employment and the earliest appointment was a week out. Had to go to another location which was further away

This place sucks! Extremely long wait, unorganized with staff arguing with patients. Unpleasant experience.

They only had one lady checking in and doing blood . Swelled up big lump bruised and I'm concerned..done Friday morning still.huge lump In arm. But the lady was nice and I didn't think it was messy ..it looked fine. Lady probably mulit tasking and I didn't feel.pain I just think if lab Corp would keep enough staff instead of trying to get one person to do it all. Perhaps she could focus on drawing blood and not have to run front. I have had a tiny bruise before . But never a lump and huge bruise . I'm embarrassed had to where long sleeves today . This lump is nothing I ever experienced. I'm nervous. Should not be going through this

Went here for blood work yesterday. Michelle, who drew my blood was awesome! In this present day, coming across someone who is pleasant, smiling and helpful is such a blessing.

Trying to schedule appt or go as a walk-in for a work related drug screening 3 days in a row. Front desk employee very rude, and you can tell with no desire to work. How am I supposed to get tested if there is no appt available and if I try to do go as a walk-in I cannot be seen. Why then it is promoted as a walk-in place?

Was sent there for a pre employment drug screen. They had no appointments available for a week or more and the website says you can go in and wait. But they won’t allow you to.
Poor communication and service all around

I have given up on Labcorp. With or without an appointment there is an hour wait time. Only 8 chairs, people who don't feel well have to stand. Only 1 person working, again. She keeps referring patients to the Port Charlotte office as 3 people are working there. I received an order for blood work needed for surgery late yesterday, so I was a walk in after 90 minutes I walked next door to Quest. What a difference, ample seating, on the computerized screen is notification on when your turn is, none more than 15 minutes. I signed in, went back to Labcorp and notified others waiting as long as I had, 4 of them followed me to Quest. I was taken immediately upon return. As I have monthly draws, I cannot fast then wait 90 minutes. No appointment was available on line until next week. Too many times only one tech working, having to do paperwork and perform draws. You would think with another lab nextdoor, they would do better.

This place sucks, listen to the reviews. Blood droplets on lobby floor, keeps trying to charge me for the same service I got 3 years ago and won't let the girls proceed to finish my appointment in the computer system until I pay a THIRD time. Only reason it isn't 1 star is for friendly staff, but they weren't able to help me with my account charges not clearing even after I paid it...twice over. You, as the customer now have to call billing and deal with them to get a refund. But their system can charge you there of course. I wasn't there for a drug screen either like the person at the desk initially asked me across the lobby, I was there for blood draws. Go literally right next door to Quest Lab. Check in is much quicker too.

Most horrible labcorp I have been to. It's dirty. It's understaffed. I have never seen anything like this horrible place. I've Been here 3 hours just for blood work. They had 80 year old people fasting hadn't ate or drank in 12 hours sitting waiting 5 hours. Unacceptable unbelievable without any compassion ? they should be in another line of work. Save yourself a horrible experience and go to north port bc port charlotte labcorp is not a place for humans.

Don't waste time at this location. The staff can't be bothered to pretend to care, you'd have a better experience at the Englewood or Port Charlotte location.

By far the worst place to go to. Any and all places in North Port are trash.

I come here every three months to get labs. Everytime they are severely understaffed. If you are lucky two people will be working. Sometimes it's just one tech checking people in a doing draws. Staff is as nice as they can be given the working conditions. So many people just leave when they hear two hour wait.

I just had to pay $149.01 for a test that Medicare didn't pay Labcorp. I was being threatened with a collection agency so I called Labcorp. I have the evidence that Medicare paid for everything else except for one thing. I was asked if I had signed a document that I would pay if Medicare didn't pay. I don't remember I did. I was informed that I signed a document for that particular test. Medicare has always paid for my blood tests and there were several items on the doctor's request. Medicare paid for everything except that test and I got stuck with the bill. I think this is unjust. Labcorp knows what Medicare pays for and how much. Why perform a test if they know they are not going to get paid for it? I thought I was signing for the lab tests as usual; not for one that I would be charged for. I am very disappointed. I guess I have to go somewhere else to get my future lab tests done and not trust what I am being asked to sign. They give it to you in a rush and look at the consequences...??10/2/23 I called Labcorp just as it was suggested by the Owner below, and there was no solution to my situation as the owner tried to imply. I paid the money and they will not give me a credit for their mistake.
