I asked the lady is my prescription was under Good Rx cost and she said yes, actually it wasn’t. Being truthful is best practices but I guess lying is easier

Honestly they only get 1 star because i have to put one in order to leave a review. Had a prescription called in and was told it would be an hour, went after 2 hours they told me it would be about 4-5 more hours, went back for them to tell me it’s out of stock. So i had another pharmacy try to call them and left 2 messages and they were never gotten back to. So I had to go up to this store personally just to be told they still haven’t checked any voicemails. They’ve been open for 5 hours. Then i was told it would be at least 2 more hours to even check and be sent over. Absolutely the worst pharmacy i have ever used. Will never use or even give cvs the time of day. You shouldn’t either.

Absolutely incompetent. I've never had issues picking up any prescriptions until now. Called once, prescription was to be ready in a few hours, wasn't showing ready on the app but they were going to close soon so I showed up.... Not ready. Maybe my fault? Sure. Called again the next day for now two prescriptions and mentioned that I called the previous day and they had no idea what I was talking about. Showed up... waited in line for over a half hour for them to tell me its drop off only when the sign clearly states otherwise. Finally get up to the window again for her to tell me there is only one prescription is ready. Told me it'd be a 1/2 hour wait for the other one. I don't have time. I called almost 9 hours ahead of time to ensure they'd both be ready. EXTREMELY frustrated. I know pharmacies can be busy but goodness, if you're gonna provide a service provide a decent one. Immediately changing locations after this experience. HUGE waste of gas and time. Would never recommend this place to anyone. And anyone who is using them, should stop.

Pharmacist was colder than cold. I checked in early to do a Covid shot got there early was waiting forever. Then two elderly people who didn't sign in and weren't waiting as long got their shots next. I can almost forgive it for the time the pharmacist got to me he told me there were no moderna shots. When I signed in online they said there was. Ontop of that o had chosen a flu shot too and that was never brought up. At this point I was too tired to care. I got Pfizer and got out of there. I don't usually write reviews but this CVS got under my skin. Especially when I'm the past if has good experiences with other CVS stores. It almost made me feel like my existence annoyed him or I did something to make him dislike me. When the entire time I was nothing but quiet and polite. This place is awful at least shot wise it is. This place is broken and the jerk pharmacist needs a lesson in customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.

While I know staffing at this time is problematic the pharmacy at this location seems to have plenty of bodies behind the counter, they always seem super busy but in watching it appears few if any know how to work efficiently. Due to proximity we've been using this location for 2 years, slow to complete Rxs, drive-up so slow it's just better to go inside though that rarely saves time. I dont know if this is a local or corporate problem, the employees seem busy and reasonably amicable but still usually a lousy experience overall.

Worst customer service in history. They can be completely empty of customers and not answer the phone. I called them while I was in the store and they kept telling me to hold while they all goofed off

My daughter & granddaughter are visiting from Denmark. They needed a COVID test to return FROM the USA to Denmark. I went to their on -line appointment site but could not schedule an appointment because after the initial name and birthdate, they required an address.. no problem right? Except you could only fill in City and State. It would not allow for "country' to be entered. I called CVS PHARMACY in North Port and finally got someone to answer. After much deliberation they gave me a hotline number for their CVS testing (Minute Clinic).First time got someone who could barely speak English. She could not get the spelling correct (Belinda or Cecilie) after five attempts so I hung up. Called again and got a man who spoke "just barely"better English. It only took THREE times to repeat the spelling. Gave the birthdate of the first person to get tested for Covid19 & got confirmation#. Gave the birthdate for the second person after three attempts he, (I THOUGHT) got it right. Received confirmation #. Went today to get the testing done. Sat in the car @ the drive through for 10 minutes before she ever came to the window even though she saw us. Finally she asked me what I needed. Told her we needed the Covid19 testing. I gave her the names and gave confirmation #s & birthdates. Another 15 - 20 minutes went by. She came back and said sorry the birthdate dates aren't correct and she can't correct them BUT I can call the toll free number and reschedule!!! SAME HOTLINE NUMBER WITH THE same Foreigners who can't speak English and can't understand English! What a waste of time!!!! If you are going to have an online appointment scheduled then make it available for everyone & if you have a hotline then make sure the person or persons answering can speak and understand English!!!! Prior to all of this nonsense, I stood at the counter for 25 minutes just to talk to someone about COVID testing two weeks ago at the same pharmacy.

CVS North Port FL. I have been a customer for over nine years. I am taking 9 various prescriptions 1 of which, oxycodone a schedule 1 drug, has a problem with the monthly refills. My other prescriptions have been overfilled to the point of having 3 months ahead on most of them. I get constant notices that want them to be auto filled. (The auto fill is why I am 3 months ahead) When I finally spoke with a pharmacist today his very visible distain for me(?) or the drug prescribed, showed me exactly how much loyalty matters. He couldn't stop sucking on a toothpick to at least try to explain if there is a problem. His only answer was that my doctor must have sent it early. This is true, I go to a pain management office and my appointments are not always in line with the refill dates. In the past I have gotten automated texts from CVS to tell me it was too soon (which I and my Doctor freely acknowledge) . Mr. toothpick's answer was "I have no answer" and he walked away. The most recent Prescription was due on 7/2 and after several phone calls and in store visits it was filled late on 7/8. The reason this is notable is that their sophisticated computer system has no trouble keeping track of my other 8 prescriptions. After actually hearing and seeing the corporate attitude in person, my wife and I will be moving our prescriptions to another more customer service based pharmacy. I find it hard to believe that a large corporation like CVS ,which is primarily about servicing customers, would condone attitudes like this. Other reviews for this CVS seem to all refer to lack of customer service or professional conduct.

Changed to this CVS about five months ago because I thought that Walgreens had really gotten bad. Transferred all of my prescriptions and they were very helpful and friendly. Now, after five months, I've sadly discovered the real CVS. They almost never give you the right time for pickup. I ordered three prescriptions yesterday and was told they would be ready by 2:00. Called at 5 and two were ready. I made the mistake of asking about the price on one prescription. The woman I talked to was so rude and refused to discuss price at all. She said I have to come in the store for that. Finally today, I called back and made the woman I spoke to go and check the status of the prescription. It was ready but they forgot to update it. This prescription has been out of stock three out of the five times I've ordered it from them. I had to wait two weeks one time and no less than a week the other two times until it was back in stock. Anyhow, I went there today to question the price. Big mistake! I got in the pick up line. Third in line. Got to the window. She can't find me in the computer. After several tries she turns the screen to me and I told her she misspelled my name. She fixed that but still couldn't find me. I look again and see that she has the wrong birthday in. I corrected that and finally she found me. I then made the mistake of asking her if she used my insurance or Good RX. She said she can't answer that. I need to go to the drop off window for price information. The drop off window is maybe five feet away. So, I ended up waiting in that line. Got to the window and the guy there looked up the information. He kept insisting that the price was correct even with me showing him on my phone the correct price, $20 less. He walked away and another woman came up and started to work on it. After ten minutes she said my Good RX card on file was at least two years old and that's why we have the problem. I didn't bother telling her that I knew it wasn't true since I just started doing business with them five months ago. Anyhow, she said she would print a new label. Ten minutes later, she says I should go sit down. I did and while I was waiting, went to Yelp to see their ratings. I guess I'm not alone in thinking that this CVS is actually worse than a trip to DMV. No organization and certainly no customer service or even caring that their customers are actually human beings. This will be my last month with them. For now, going back to Walgreens. It's not great but certainly far better than this store. Every month since I started there's been some type of problem.

Horrible customer service when it comes to trying to call them. Don't even bother. I was calling because I have been to eight other pharmacies That did not have my medication in stock, with a crying baby in my car with me and I did not want to have to drive 30 minutes out of my way just to be told that they don't have it too. But when I was halfway already there to their location they finally answered their phone took another couple minutes to get back to me and of course they didn't have it. Would've been much nicer if they could've answered their phone at a timely matter so I don't have to drive that way with a screaming baby. I have never been left on Call waiting for that long ever for pharmacies and trust me I have to call lot between kids and myself.

Had 2 scripts sent in. Went in the store to see if they were there, tech said they didn't come through, called dr to resend, call 2 hours later they tell me the system has been down so they haven't got my scripts yet.
