Wasn't really pleased with the choice of frames. Looked at all of them. Need more shapes and pastel colors. Through it all,Ralph was so very informative and helpful. I was very ambivalent about the different type of glasses, styles and colors. He was so kind and patient.

Most piss poor experience I've ever had at any establishment. The fact that you're extended fit frames aren't big enough for my head and the best you can give me is "oh well, it's as big as we've got". What are you guys in business for if you can't sell product. This was an absolute rip-off I haven't had glasses in 7 years this was my first chance for them and you guys can't do anything for me. Remember the name Dominic shartle because you won't get business from him ever

Today me and my son, who is 17 years old, went last week to get new glasses. We asked that his lenses made thinner at the edges, which the employee acknowledged. Previously, years back when we went into America's Best, asking glasses to be thiner was always done perfectly. However, this time the glasses we ordered were not in the condition that we specifically asked. We went multiple to America's Best to fix the situation, but everyone there did not want to help us. They told us to get new glasses, however, which new glasses that would fit my son was not clarfied. They confused me which myself I cannot understand English very well, and my son who did understand English, was also very confused. Because of this I missed my daughter's music lesson and got sick from this appointment. Now we do not want to attend America's Best anymore.

EYEGLASS FIELD EMERGENCY!!!>>>> Fast and sweet just like the service and friendly awesome folks.My glass lens popped out 25 miles from home and 30 miles from my eyeglass folks in Sarasota!!! (Spares in my home office, travel suitcase and briefcase - note to self one in the car)SHAWN <sp> took my frame and lens hooked me up and fixed humpty dumpy in a few minutes..... quick tighten on the temples as well!!!!AWESOME!!! All they let me pay was this review and a Merry Christmas wish to one and ALL!!!~ Thomas ~

My encounter with Dr. Bryon Leeds at America's Best in North Port was disappointing. Dr. Leeds lacked empathy and is very unprofessional from a clincial perspective. He brushed off my questions and didn't take the time to thoroughly explain my eye health. I ended up leaving prior to the exam because I refused a procedure that I was not comfortable with. I would not recommend him as an eye care provider. Spend your money and time with other local doctors who actually care about their patients.

Okay, I truly believe in customer service, trust me I was amazed at the service we received at America’s Best.I went in for service and my glasses, explained how disappointed I was, and I should have come back earlier, I knew I had passed the warranty period. Kelsey, rep at store, believe higher than that, positively an amazing woman that listened to us, and yet could see for herself what was wrong. Without hesitation or argument, she said “these are terrible, I am going to replace them. I offered to purchase a new frame also because the frame was not right for my face. Long story short gigantic thanks to America’s best fir having Kelsey as a representative. That is customer satisfaction. Thank you lKelsey you are awesome Bonnie

Staff is friendly, with a great selection of frames, but the overall cost compared to other eye care places is twice the cost. Make sure you know your eye insurance well, the person who checked me in put the wrong insurance information on my chart, so I basically payed full price for the exam as if I didn't have insurance. If I didn't call my insurance company, I would have been overcharged. My copay is $10. I was charged $109. They were very quick on refunding the overcharge.

I waited a few weeks to leave my review so I could thoroughly test my glasses from America's Best. I can say that I'm impressed! I went for the two pairs of glasses deal with eye exam and being honest I never went anywhere besides an Optometrist Specialist and was nervous.But it was a great experience! Their Optometrist was professional and kind. Their selection was great! After I got my glasses, I was expecting some cheap plastic frame, but it was high quality and it feels like metal!I'm very satisfied with my purchase with going to America's Best! Don't be nervous about going to anywhere besides a Optometrist Specialist like I was, they will take good care of you.

Definitely recommend going back. First pair we had done didn’t do well with my father’s eyes. Went back and had another exam done from his eye doctor and found it to be a tad different so another script was written. Took the glasses back to Americas Best and KELSEY WAS A TREMENDOUS HELP. Got another pair of frames for them to put the new script in and told us to come back in a couple weeks if we didn’t hear from them . No more out of pocket money was needed. Very pleased. Thank you Kelsey!

This place was great the first time I went and terrible when I went last year. They tried charging extra money that they couldn't show me on a fee schedule then just expected me to be quiet about it and pay it instead of showing where the fees come from. Continued to call me, after I paid and left the store, to try and antagonize me about the increased costs they wanted me to pay but the store manager already ended up discounting off. When I recently needed two pairs of the glasses replaced under warranty..the warranty that I paid for before finding out and not being told that America's Best warranty is supposed to be included in the kids transition lenses, they replaced the glasses with normal lenses and NOT transition lenses. I will NEVER use this store again and I have been taking five people (kids and husband) to this company multiple times a year for six or more years now. The woman who waited on us was the most unprofessional, miserable, antagonizing example of poor customer service that exists in the retail world and I am pretty sure they just promoted her.

Best eye exam I've ever got in my entire life! Being myself a healthcare provider that have been dealing with contacts/glasses for 20 years now, I can attest that Dr. Leeds performed the very best exam I've ever had. He was polite but concise and very precise in his suggestions. I will definitely ask for Dr. Leeds next time I need my recare exam.

All the staff were rude especially the insurance staff person. The Dr. Is unfriendly. There are less expensive places to go to for eyeglasses. The atmosphere was negative. We won’t be back because we would rather do business with friendly, positive people. They need an attitude adjustment.

This was my first time at America’s Best and it was great. Tammi helped with the insurance and picking out two beautiful frames. The Optometrist and Tech were just wonderful. They actually listened to me and I knew I was in good hands.

I had a very nice experience. Wait times were not bad, and they took the time to understand my needs and setup my order. The optometrist did a thorough test for my vision and recommended bifocals. When I went to receive my glasses they helped me adjust the glasses and I’m happy to say no issues. Been wearing them for a few weeks now! Will definitely be a return customer!
