If I could put 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service and the owner is a scam artist. Je charged me $30 to diagnose my vacuum and then convinced me to spend $350 on one which was open box. The unit had been used and when I tried to return it he said only store credit. When he originally rang me up he attempted to charge my card $522 and when I called him out on it he said he "must've hit the wrong button". Total scam artist

My Dyson vacuum was not getting all the dirt off the floor. I left it with Fred for a diagnosis. He called back with a reasonable estimate to get it back into top condition. He credited the diagnostic fee against the repair estimate. It was ready much earlier than I anticipated looking great. I heartily recommend the Vacuum Store on Northlake.

Stop harassing me! Look at the pictures they don't lie!!! You did nothing to fix my vacuum! Face it. You dropped the ball and stole my money. Period. My vacuum works now since my neighbor did your job for you. You keep coming for me because of your conscience. You know you are wrong. Pictures tell it all. You stole from me!!

My Miele canister vacuum bag holder broke. I ordered a new one from manufacturer and tried unsuccessfully to install it myself. The “easy to install” instructions did not work for me so I brought to Fred who quickly pushed it into the slots with no trouble! I offered to pay him for his time but he refused, so kind of him.Any other issues I will go directly to him and support local business.

I made the unfortunate choice of bringing my dyson cordless here for an overpriced battery replacement of $150Once I received my vacuum back from fred, i realize he replaced my dyson battery with a cheap battery from china. My vacuum began overheating and no longer worked for more than maybe 10 mins tops. I brought it back and asked that he please correct the issue and he gave me a hard time, While also doing his best to convince me it must be a clog in the vacuum, (Even though he claimed to have already taken apart and cleaned the dyson and its housing unit thoroughly) among many other elaborate excuses.I brought it home for the second time, none of the issues have been fixed and now my spin brush is also broken. What I thought would be a simple fix just cost me a few hundred for a new vacuum.

Went in with a broken vacuum hose I was unable to fix. Fred quickly separated the connector, removed the broken piece and put it back together in 2 minutes. He refused to accept any payment..He told me to come back when I had a real problem. Rest assured, I will.Great guy, great service.

Fred is the best at listening and diagnosing my vacuum cleaner issues. I used the old one for another year, even though the canister bottom was cracked (just too expensive to replace). I am picking up a brand new vacuum cleaner tomorrow from Fred because he is a pleasure to do business with and I trust him. The product reviews online support everything he explained too. Thanks Fred for your knowledge and service.

I needed a filter and a cover closure adjustment. The owner was extremely accommodating, friendly, informative and a great people person. Retailers should follow his example.

What a great experience. Fred is a pleasure to deal with. He is knowledgeable and honest about what your options are and what may be best for YOU, not him bottom line. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to repair a vacuum or decide whether or not it even makes sense to do so.
