The worst! I called to make sure medication I needed was approved and I was told over and over again it was. When prescribed by my doctor they declined it suggesting a different(less expensive) medicine. When I asked why, they said, “well it does the same thing”. I have contacted the employer about removing RX-Care as our prescription provider.

I have had great experience with US Rx care. Their review staff are clinicians who look out for the best interest of the patients.

Horrible company. This is unfortunately my 2nd year dealing with them. This year they have superseded the height of causing frustrations. They require prior authorization for absolutely necessary medications for someone with EPI and diabetics. Despite of several follow ups by doctor’s office, nothing will come through until YOU as a patient reaches out to them. They are a nightmare for patients, doctors and pharmacy to deal with. This cycle is unbelievable; here we go:Doctor prescribed the medication 3 weeks ago>>> pharmacy tried to fill but finds, insurance needs Prior Authorization >>>> Reaches back to the Doctor’s Office who now has to fill a form and send it to insurance>>>> taking their sweet time>>>>in the meantime you are following up with pharmacy like idiots>>>>no one tells you that YOU will have to move this mountain yourself>>>>emailing doctor’s office>>>>they say they are waiting by the fax machine but nothing has come through>>>calling insurance and they say they will take care of it>>>> calling doctor’s office >>>> they are still waiting>>>>calling insurance and oh they finally say they have APPROVED it and resending THAT FAX>>>reaching to the Doctor’s to check their FAX>>> now doctor’s office will have to notify pharmacy again so they can fill it. So yeah the meds that you supposed to take five times a day with every meal/ snack, let’s give it a few more days…who is counting??Just wondering if US- RXcare is a pharmacy insurance so why can’t they effing notify your pharmacy directly!!!Anyway, I think their goal is to make people lose their minds and get them so entangled in the medicine approval/ PA game that they forget about the agony of the medical issue they are dealing with and now start focusing on the anxiety, anger, and other mental issues, oh so now you need to make an appointment with a therapist>>> getting back in the loop!!

I am a busy physician who can attest to the volitional efforts of this company and others like it to make it as hard as possible for doctors to complete prior authorizations for meds they have blocked. US-Rx Care does not participate in Cover My Meds, the most common online resource for physicians to complete this work and they do not allow completion by phone. They force clinicians to do a jig for them on their individual site and forms, which of course make things impossibly inefficient. This seems to be the intent because inefficiency breeds delay and delay breeds rejection, which ultimately saves the insurance company money. Shameful.

These people are criminals A young woman with Multiple Sclerosis in her her brain and spinal cord started a drug which was required by their step therapy and failed She was started on a more effective and well tolerated oral FDA approved drug taking it for 3 months thru samples UsRx Care chief pharmacist denied paying for the drug. After her neurologist pleaded to speak to their neurologist on a peer to peer interview , they agreed. Their neurologist agreed to continue the drug but he was not allowed to approve the drug. Fact is no doctor would stop the drug which has no generic and stopping it could put her in a wheelchair. US Rx lied and they stated their neurologist did not approve the drug. US Rx has a contractual agreement to authorize and pay for needed drugs. They refuse and when told stopping her drug could make her a blind paralytic, , they don’t care

This company has been the biggest nightmare to work with ever. They have denied my son’s medication because they feel like his dosage, which is based off his blood levels of hormone, is not what they would recommend. Mind you, my son’s body does not produce this hormone and requires this medication to function. They do not care. They will not help you. They will force your medical team to spend days and days attempting to educate them and then they just stop cooperating to drag it out longer. Do what you can to NOT be associated with this company ever.

One of the most incompetent and unscrupulous PBMs out there. It is amazing to me that some employers still have employees left after engaging this company. I would think at the rate they deny every med possible, most of the members would not still be alive.

If you are in need of diabetic medication and need a PA good luck. My husband’s doctor has sent several prior authorization for his diabetic meds and they are all denied. These are the only medications that help control his diabetes. This insurance is terrible!!

This prescription insurance coverage provider works unnecessarily hard at denying every claim possible. They're specialty happens to be in prior authorizations and denying service. This company operates out of Florida and it shows.

Unethical company. Denies critical medications that I have been on for years. If your employers uses this company, find another job with a better provider quickly!

If you are considering this company for your employees, and you hate your employees and want them to suffer, US-Rx care is for you. If you have any shred of human decency, avoid whatever scam organization this is. I am physically suffering from multiple conditions with no relief in sight because of these evil people. If you just started a job that uses this company and you have medical needs around or above the complexity of asthma, run.
