I normally don’t leave reviews but the entire experience of visiting, buying, and the delivery of an incredible 11 foot table was a wonderful experience. The owner Fritz couldn’t be more knowledgeable or friendly. He and his staff are artists. You can go to the design district, but you’ll be paying double or triple.

The ponderosawoodslabs.com website had some problems but it looks like they took care of the problems. I received a polite response from the owner when I complained. Good luck to this business.

I attempted to pay a visit during business hours and they were closed. There was a sign on the door to call the number so I did and no answer. Not a great part of town so I didn’t want to hang around any longer than I had to. Will find slabs elsewhere. I attempted to visit on a day they were open understanding they aren’t open on Sunday and Monday.

I wanted to build a live edge wood coffee table myself and went to another wood store first but it seemed way over priced and no one seemed to be an expert. I tried Ponderosa WoodSlabs and Fritz was so helpful! He walked me through the entire process of what I would need to do to finish the piece of wood and told me to call him I had any questions. You can tell that he and his team are passionate about wood working. I'm so happy with how my table came out and would definitely recommend Ponderosa WoodSlabs to anyone looking for live edge wood!

This establishment prides itself on quality and workmanship. Received superb service from Fritz and Noel and they took the time to explain their process and showed us several selections of dining room slabs. They also offer slabs for coffee tables, shelves and a whole lot more.

I traveled everywhere until finally finding what we were looking for. Excellent selection, custom made to our specs. Loved that we didn’t feel like we were paying for a high price showroom in a high price neighborhood. Very safe location, next door to Security company.

expensive. Brickell or design district prices, but located in an alley in a dangerous part of town, with a homeless sleeping outside.EDIT.I gave them one more star because they got mad. But the product is still overpriced.
