“It was 3 PM and I just remembered it was National Daughters Day. Having 2 young girls, I knew they would love to receive flowers. Despite it being last minute, Juan agreed to make and deliver 2 bouquets to my girls as I was out of town. Upon receipt of the flowers, my girls said they were “the most beautiful flowers they’ve ever seen in their lives!!!” Juan took the time to use each girl’s favorite colors in their respective bouquets. “I found Sandi's shop, Broward Orchid Supply, from a Google search. I needed some advice and supplies to report my Vanda and my Dendrobium, and I am so glad I stopped by her eclectic little place! She guided me in the right direction by telling me exactly what to do with both of my plants. Sandi took her time to explain what technique I should use to repot my orchids, and she gave me precisely what I needed to achieve this task. She didn't try to oversell me a bunch of things or anything like that. Sandi is super silly and quirky which made the experience entertaining and didactic. She is very knowledgable on orchids and maps out a plans for each customer. For example, I can't water my Vanda daily, maybe every 3 to 5 days I can actually water it, so she instructed me to repot it into a basket and add some moisture holding medium which she has in her shop. Obviously Vanda needs lots of air so I am keeping it very airy, but with some coco coir fiber and New Zealand bark chips so that moisture is retained between watering. As for my Dendrobium, I put her in a clay pot with some of the bark chips and a layer of LFSM. If you have questions about your orchid or need some supples give her a call or stop by her shop!”
“This cute little shop is located in Miami Shores Village. Next to an ice cream store and a gift shop adds toth e quaint of the neighborhood's already beautiful chill small town vibe. There are pots, grape wood, fertilizers, and beautiful little plants for your house. Terrific gifts here. I like to come here and just spend a little bit of time amongst the green and see what kind of new plants and pots I can add to my collection of greenery in my home.”

“This is a fabulous private nursery on W 84 st in Hialeah also known as NW 138 st. It’s on the border of Hialeah and Miami Lakes. It is family owned and run. The prices are better than Home Depot or Lowes and the plant selection is good although availability may vary from week to week. You can special order specific plants if you like and they usually get them within the week. They have gravel and soil as well as grass squares that can be delivered directly to your home or business. This is one of my favorite hometown businesses to promote. Highly recommended.”

“North Miami’s Home Depot is one of two stores near Miami Beach, and I usually choose the latter for hardware and home remodel-painting & / other small DIY jobs. During my recent visit last week I found my curtain hooks relatively easy, but perhaps it would have been easier had a been assisted by one of the store employees. I believe that HD needs to retrain & reward employees who are responsive patrons whose need assistance at finding whatever it is they are looking for. I hope my review brings about better customer service. Certainly, there is a lot of other positive factors such as easy access to the plentiful parking, availability of inventory, signage throughout including my favorite, the nursery and outdoor section.”
