I used to go to this hair store often because it’s so close to my home but everytime I go in I am treated so poorly that I never want to go back. PSA They’re prices are MUCH higher than other hair stores so be prepared to pay $3+ more here than you would any other place. The staff is VERY rude and unprofessional including management. Would NOT recommend.

I made a purchase on 5/31/23. Items total $155.44. I had several items but was given credit card receipt only. I called back to let the employee/manager know I did not receive all items. I was handled very poorly. I asked for and denied an itemized bill so I could confirm my purchases. I was continuously told to bring In receipt which I only have for credit card. First of all I am NOT asking to be given something I did NOT pay for but not even given the itemized receipt to confirm purchases. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

Staff needs to be trained on how to interact with customers, the lady at the counter was very dimissive and not helpful.... the gentlemen probably the owner/manager who checked me out was nice and helpful.

I had a great experience here on Saturday morning. Draya assist me in finding a wig and she also put it on. I was her first customer I was in and out in less an hour.

Always a pleasure and ease to find what I need in the store. They have everything I need from hair to jewelry to products like edge control and I feel very welcomed and attended to upon walking in.

This store is terrible. they make the employess follow you in the store as if your stealing and the owners follow you each move you make. they acting like they are fixing things but in reality they are checking to see if your stealing. not everyone steals. i feel uncomfotable so i stop going there.

I came in with my service dog and was almost immediately declined entry. The worker present and owner does not follow ADA rules apparently, and I was extremely dissatisfied with this. I was told to hurry up, and upon asking a question was immediately given a no to any question, as if to get me out of the store. These are my rights. Will not be returning and will further be investigating this.

Purchased braiding hair xpression from there two times and both times the braiding hair had a scent of moth balls it took alot for me to get the smell and i threw away the other three packs and went to another store I will never go there again

I was a loyal customer. Until Friday night... I went to this beauty store straight after work because it's near my job. Im in uniform ran in at 8:53. And they close at 9. I knew I was going to be quick because I knew what I wanted. I had my items in hand heading to the counter. At the counter the old guy told me to "GET OUT" because they were closed. Its 8:57. The other guy said no finish your purchase. But like elders say never spend your money where people don't greet you, dish out attitude or follow you. So I dropped all of my items on the counter and drove over to BEAUTY EXCHANGE!! It was opposite of my house but the service is always on point. And they are open until 10 or when the last customer leave.

This review is for VERONICA. The girl in the back that does the wig installations!What happened to me today was embarrassing and SO BIZZARE!Background: The 1st time I went into the store was December 2020. I saw a wig I liked and returned a few days later to purchase it. When I returned I had it installed by Veronica. Our interaction was very pleasant. She did a good job. I never had a wig installed before so she suggested that I not get the neck area glued saying it would be irritating for me, to which I agreed. When she was done I was very satisfied. I gave her a generous 30% tip and bought the products she suggested I get to keep the wig looking good. The install lasted a long time. I went back to the Beauty Supply store 3 more times. Once I went to ask Veronica how to remove the wig. She told me I needed 90% alcohol. I bought it and went on my merry way. The next time I went to chat with Veronica and ask her about how to color my wig and things like that. That was the extent of our interaction. Alway pleasant.Today: I went in with a wig that I wanted to install. The cost of the install went up from $29 to $40 so I asked if the cornrows were included. I asked because if not I would've cornrowed my hair myself. I said that I wanted to have the wig installed and put in a ponytail. I went to the front to pay and then returned to the waiting area in the back. Veronica was helping a customer, installing her wig. I stepped out and when I returned a minute later the man at the front counter told me Veronica had a problem with me. He said ask her if she wants to still do your install. I didn't understand what he was saying and thought he had me mixed up with someone else. I was confused by what he was saying. I said, She has a problem With Me? Why, for what? Are you sure? I was just sitting there. He said, Go ask her. Veronica still had the client in the chair So I was going to ask after the client got up. When the client got up, Veronica said she was going to take a 20 minute break and walked off. The man from the counter came from the front of the store and told me in front of another customer that Veronica has a problem with me. I said are you sure she is not mistaking me for someone else. He said no. So I said what does that mean she has a problem with me. What is the problem. He said he doesn't know, but she doesn't want to help me. I said OK, I don't have to beg for service here. He told me to come to get my money back. I did and I left the store.VERONICA I don't know what that was about. But whatever the problem was you could have just told me. I wish you the best.

I recently moved to Florida and have chosen this to be my Beauty Supply store of choice. I like that they have a wide selection of hair products and wigs. I read the other reviews which seemed either really bad or really good. So I checked it out for myself. I've been to the store on several occasions and encountered all of the people that had been described in the reviews but didn't have any issues. I was treated professionally. The older lady behind the counter was especially nice an is an asset to the establishment. I was helped by a latin young lady that was very patient, helpful and very pleasant. I had even had a nice conversation with one of the men from behind the counter that is from New York like myself. Like I said I had been to this store on several occasions. I had recently cut my locs and decided I wanted to try a wig. I bought a $300 wig and paid to have it installed by Veronica. I remembered her name because it's the same as a relative. That install went well. I asked a lot of questions because I never wore a wig before and wanted to know what I needed to do to maintain this wig. Veronica gave me instructions on how to maintain the wig and recommended some products, which I purchased and she showed me how to apply them. I was pleased with the install. The only other encounter I had with Veronica is about 7 weeks later when I had removed the wig. I came into the store to ask how do I dye a wig and boost up the color. I showed her a little bald spot that I had on my temple from when I improperly removed my wig, but it was no big deal. She just told me that I must have not let the alcohol saturate the glue. I bought another wig and went about my business. On March 3, 2021 I returned to the store with another wig that I had purchased from this store. I had dyed it and wanted it installed and put into a ponytail. The big Arab man behind the counter inspected the wig saw that it was new and that I had just dyed it. He was professional. I would go as far to say he was nice to me because he spoke to me with a smile (I've been here a few times and never saw him smile). I paid for the install, received my ticket and proceeded to go to the back where Veronica does the installs. She looked at the wig and said it was too short to put into a ponytail. I said ok no problem. I waited in the waiting area. I went to my car to get something and when I returned the big arab man told me Veronica said she had a problem with me. Because of his accent I wasn't sure of what he meant. So I asked what is the problem. He said he didn't know but he thinks Veronica doesn't want to do my hair. He said I can go ask her. I said OK. So I returned to the back and waited for her to finish with her customer. When she finished she walked off and said she was going to take a 20 minute break. As soon as she walked off the big Arab guy came to the back of the store and told me Veronica had a problem with me and didn't want to do my hair. I was shocked and wondering if she had me mixed up with someone else. He said no she said she didn't want to do your hair. I was shocked and thinking WHAT?????? I asked him over and over Are you sure it's me she's talking about. The other customers were sitting there looking s confused as I was. I got up was refunded my money and left. Neither the owner or Veronica ever expressed what her problem was with me. He gave me my money back so I guess that's it. Veronica I would really like to know what your problem is, but it's not important as you are not important. I will take my money somewhere else. I drove all the way from Hollywood to support your store. I just moved to Florida and this was the only Beauty Supply that I would go to. You just lost a loyal customer. Bye
