From Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery
Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery was consecrated in 1959 by his Excellency, the Most Reverend Coleman F. Carroll as our second Catholic Cemetery and the only Catholic Cemetery in Broward County. In the sixty plus years that have passed since then, cities and towns grew up around us making the peaceful and sacred grounds of our cemetery truly unique. Many families have accompanied their loved ones through our gates to their final resting place in the last six decades. From our opening to today, more than 34,000 souls have been laid to rest here in peace and tranquility.
