Bait and Switch
Have had a unit for 2 months (signed July 2024). I just received in the mail (Sept, 2024) a notice of a 50% rate increase. This is funny because I can still reserve an identical unit for the price I agreed to. They claim this rate is for new tenants only, but if 2 months in isn’t new, then what is it. Smells an awful lot like bait and switch. They also claim that they needed to increase rates for maintenance purposes, which is really funny given that the parent company, National Storage Affiliates had a 29% increase in profits last year with $237 Million in net income.
Simple greed. I will be looking for a different storage solution, there are plenty of others to choose from.

I am surprised by the cleanliness as it does not seem to be well maintained. The lights in the hallway are off, and the entrance door does not open automatically, which leads to unnecessary energy waste. Additionally, the air conditioning is affected since the door often remains open if customers do not close it. These issues need to be addressed promptly.

Staff are friendly. That rat problem not long ago at the time was gross. I’d actually welcome the rats back though to get rid of the homeless guys and have the AC permanently fixed. Should have fired the AC company long ago! Must be annoying to call them out every week to patch the problem of the leaking unit.

This place is just OK. The entrance way to my storage unit is busted, so it stays hot in there even though I pay for a conditioned unit. But at least the security gate is fixed now. Every time I go, there's nobody in the office to talk to. I have to call the company. But as far as storage it does its job. I haven't seen any bermim or bugs and nothings been stolen. I won't say it's bad, the price is alright but they like to raise it on you without fixing the problems they have. But for functionality it serves it's purpose.
