If I could give ZERO stars I would!
Absolute NIGHTMARE of a company.
We did not choose this company, they took over our previous storage company. First, we were give ZERO notice. Second, they tried raising our rent nearly double what we paid with the original company (the one we had an agreement and paperwork with). Third, when we refused to pay this rent (because we do not have a lease agreement) they locked us out and would not let us retrieve our things and vacate.
When we called they said they would honor the agreement with the previous company if we could provide paperwork (another LIE). This is when you find out that the call center and the specific locations DO NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER. It seems like they are not even the same company! They will point fingers back and forth at each other and you will never get a straight answer. Finally we went straight to contacting the corporate office - who INSISTED that they never raise any rates (sorry I have almost a year of payment history that says that’s also a LIE).
They removed the fees but would not give us our original rate (you know the one in the actual lease agreement we signed)… so we paid it, vacated the unit and received vacate documentation (because I do not trust this place). Not even a week later this company is STILL trying to charge my card for storage, fees and insurance!
RUN!!! DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY! Even without a signed agreement they have been a huge PITA!!!!
We currently have disputes open for charges and have since closed our CC and blocked them as a merchant. They have ZERO authorization from us to charge for anything. It’s been nothing but a huge hassle. If you happen to see their banner go up on a facility you currently use RUN, do not walk, empty it out and leave before you get stuck like we did.

Rental was easy, staff are very friendly. I gave a 3 because my RV is locked in the storage due to tropical storm, and I received no notice of the closure, and have no access to the RV, which I need for work. The number to contact has no answers to resolve my issue. Right now the sun is shining and there is no reason to be closed, no ordinances, or orders to close...... Sure wish I would have been contacted about this before it happened, as my tools for work are in the RV and I have no access.

I recently searched for a storage unit in Fort Myers, and Prime Storage was my 5th option. Initially, I was skeptical due to the pricing compared to other local units, but I’m so glad I went with Prime. The sign-up process was seamless—I was able to handle everything online without even visiting the office. I received my unit number, property access code, and all follow-up information via email. To top it off, I got an outdoor, drive-up unit at an incredible price! Overall, I’m very pleased with my choice and would highly recommend Prime Storage.

I've been thrilled with the customer service that I get at this location. They were very thorough and they keep the property very clean and secure. I have to work super hard to find something bad to say it's the most secure storage facility I've ever had the pleasure of using. I've used storage facilities for the last 20 years I know what I speak about.
