I have been in this store many times. They always offer to help. This past Saturday really demonstrated their commitment to customer service. I had lost the screw that held my steam mop together. It was not a standard size. Terry helped me find the one closest to it and, then, took my mop into the back to drill the hole out a little so the screw would hold the handle on the mop. I probably would have had to toss an almost new steam mop without his help. He was so friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to help me. Would have never received that kind of service at a big box store.

Upon picking up my online order, I was two minutes after the store closed. Michael, one of the clerks, opened the locked doors for me in order to retrieved my in-store pickup order.

I went to the Horizon Ave Hardware today and was completely blown away by the staff there. Bill took one look at me and knew I needed help. When I began to explain what I needed, Terry came over to listen in. When I gave him my list, he knew exactly what I needed and gave me great installation instructions. It was such a pleasant experience. Bill the greeter, Terry the guru and the very nice lady at the check out made this an awesome experience. I so appreciate their time, expertise and encouraging conversation! Thank you, Ace Hardware, for hiring people like these to help people like me!

I bought 2 extension cords and wanted to return them .Was told
I couldn't return them since it was during hurricane season. Very disappointed, nothing noted on my receipt or told that by anyone. I guess next time I go to Lowes or Home Depot.

Horizon Ace Hardware North Ft. Myers is awesome! Customer service over the top. You walk in and right away there is someone there asking if they can help you. Yesterday it was Terry and today it was Michael!! Thanks for helping us find the perfect knobs and pulls for our remodeled kitchen!

I was there on a Sunday morning and the 2 men employees were more interested in talking to each other than helping 2 customers. I wound up finding what I was looking for and helped the only other customer locate what he was looking for. He took the screws up to the register to pay and the employee gave him a hard time because he didn't have the number code or the price written on a plastic bag. His comment to the customer was and that is how you learn. If it was that important why wasn't anyone able to help the customer. When I was checking out the cashier asked me if I found everything and I said someone should have come to that isle to see if we needed anything because I helped their customer. I told him customer service should be a higher priority. This was Aug 11 9:21 am

This is the first time I've felt like leaving a Google Review and that's saying something. I visited this location recently looking for a few items that I had forgotten for a small project at home the missus and I were looking to do. When I entered the store, I was greeted by an employee named Julia. She asked if I needed help finding anything and led me right to what I was looking for. I'm used to walking into stores and usually flying solo until I really can't find what I'm looking for. With Julia's help I was able to grab the items I needed in one swoop. I was in and out and back to the project I had planned to spend my day on. You guys just gained a regular customer. Thank you Julia!
