CVS Nokomis on 1111 Tamiami Trail lost me as a customer and frequent shopper sadly because of one employee. Megan in the pharmacy. My script was not getting filled after doc sent it twice and verified it was received. Told their confidential message line that I would run out while out of town and wanted to see what the hold up was to get the refill before I left. You cannot speak to a pharmacist there. There is no longer an option to do that. Says to leave a confidential message and they will return your call in 3 hours. Left my message once, daily, for 4 days. 4 days to try to get a human to call me back. No return call after 4th day 4th call. I called the store and asked to speak with a human at the pharmacy and was told they are not allowed to transfer calls to the pharmacy. So I arrived, in person, to be told by Megan and her condescending tone that I couldn't refill yet because my last script was filled 10.24.23. Not accurate, Megan, it was last filled 10.4.23. She then informed me that my meds "preferred pharmacy is Walgreens" (whatever that means) and and she could give me 30 but I'd have to go there for the other 60. Okay, but my doc called CVS and the date you have is wrong, but whatever, I just want to get enough so I don't run out on my trip and will get the error corrected when I return. I asked if they were getting my messaged and why they didn't return my call that I had tried for 4 days in a row and likely I could have had this corrected by now. Megan decided this was another invitation to argue and said they have 24 hours to call me. I told her the message actually says three hours but either way I had been trying to speak with someone for 4 days. She then said "yeah and if you call multiple times I'll block you" Welp...I decided I don't argue with children and I kindly asked her name and she said Megan. She then refused to give me her last name but the paper you handed me actually has your full name on it Megan. I immediately called corporate and spoke with a lovely professional named Brittany. I reported (verbatim) the words chosen and the manner in which Megan (with her last name) decided to represent CVS. I also reported my decision to never shop at a CVS again. Every message I left was kind. I was not there to argue despite Megan's attempts to get me to do so. By the 4th day and 4th message I admit I did say I had been trying for four days and was frustrated that nobody was returning my calls. Too much competition out there to give them my business. Goodbye Megan whose last name I now know. And goodbye CVS!

Worse employees in front all the two girls did was talk about Thursday night. They stated self check out only. That is the way of CVS today. We don't do check out by employees anymore. Now I know why cvs is going down hill.

Just got off a long day at work, was in a shitty mood. Checked out, I didn't say anything to the cashier but was obviously annoyed at struggling with the credit card machine. Which was being uncooperative. Payment went through and I turned around to leave. Again I was wordless with the cashier. I know I wasn't being friendly but I don't think I deserved the sarcastic "have a good day too" and then to be called "******* rude". Asked to speak to the manager and was told she was the manager. Absolutely uncalled for. Again, I wasn't over the moon to be there. But I don't think management should be throwing sarcastic comments and then using profanity with a customer was wordless and frustrated with a chip reader. Whoever the manager was 4/21 5pm was absolutely infuriating to deal with.

Take your prescriptions to another pharmacy! This group is rude, not customer service oriented, and won't fill your prescriptions on time. I just transferred to them and have been trying to get my regular prescription filled there for 2 weeks. They're always short with me and seem irritated that I call. Their answer is, "It'll be filled today". Two weeks later, I still don't have my prescription. I've been very patient and nice. I've called, and gone in there several times. This morning it's finally filled and it's $123. I've never paid that much for my medication, which I've been taking for over 20 years. Jackie, the pharmacist rudely told me "that's what it is", repeatedly interrupted me, never asked if I wanted the generic brand, and acted like I was a typical customer. So I transferred my prescription elsewhere and won't go back.

Went to the drive thru yesterday and waited extremely long for service. Attendant was working all registers herself in and out so the customers had to suffer. Then I picked up Pravastatin 10 mg 90 day supply which we had been getting for under $20 is now $47 and that's with their insurance Silverscipt Part D. Went to Costco to price it today without insurance $18.46... So I say check pharmacy prices, you may be getting gouged!

I'm a regular at about any Cvs in any town I visit, only used them a few times back at home to fill an Rx. I have always preferred them over other chain drug stores and at home use a locally owned. Visited this store three days ago and took my Rx's in to be refilled and my family members. The lady whom helped us then is why I didn't give one star she was so kind and helpful. I'm here out of state not because I'm on vacation. A family member had an cardiac arrest and we were in hospital for 38 days and now waiting to be released to go home back to Texas. And I needed to get my Rx's refilled . So when I received a text stating our Rx's we're ready for pick up. We dropped by the drive thru window and was greeted by the most unprofessional woman, she first got my birthdate wrong and acted irritated at me because she did. Then when she informed me of how much the total was. I asked which one was a 134.00? She says well which one are you talking about out of all the ones I just listed? By the way I only had three to be filled. I said the one for 134.00. I asked did my insurance not pay on these ? She said she would need my insurance card and have to check again with a roll of the eyes. She did and came back and told me that they aren't providers for this insurance. And I would have to pay cash or go across street to Walgreens. I was just dumbfounded by this I've never had this happen. She says she'll call over and tell them what was going on. Walks over gets on phone comes back and says well the other Rx's for your uncle will be $$$. I said well if I can't fill here I'll take his over there to no sense in having one here and one there. She looks at me like I just slapped her and said well they can't fill this over there they don't take this . I said they don't take Medicare and she said this type. I said well we would see. And I asked can you tell me why I couldn't of been contacted before now on this and all she could say was we aren't a provider . So went across the street and will never see foot in another Cvs at least in this area. Go over to Walgreens she never called over there and spoke to Amy of them. And by the way they take Medicare Donna.
