I've been to umpteen Walmarts from Hawaii to Rhode Island. I've been to 33 states and shopped at multiple Walmart locations in basically all of them. This is the ONLY Walmart I've ever been to that doesn't have a gluten-free section. Non-existent gluten-free options for celiacs like me, so you're going to be stuck needing to buy everything on Walmart's website to be shipped to your house. This place is right down the street from a military base, not in the middle of Timbuktu. Even the Walmart near White Sands in New Mexico (which is much more remote) had an extensive gluten-free section. What gives? This Walmart does have a section for Louisiana products, including crawfish boiling seasoning, roux starters and Cafe Du Monde beignet mix. Also, this Walmart has the pharmacy and grocery on the same side of the building (left if you're facing the front doors from the parking lot.) I ended up buying a Bug Bite Thing ($10) and mosquito itch cream ($4) at this location because, well, it's Florida and you'll need it if you visit. Visited May 2024.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Placed a pickup order 1 week before we arrived. Morning of pickup they canceled the order. Now we are scrambling to get groceries instead of enjoying our first day of vacation. Walmart has always been terrible at taking care of their customers. Just one more example in a long list.

Had a birthday emergency and the staf had to jump through hoops to save the day. Jenny, marylyn and the talented FaceTime helping artist showed exceptional teamwork in resolving my problem. Thank you so much!!

Phone rings forever and doesn't contain a message or updated info if/when store is closed, you just have to call, then go, and maybe it's open or not.

Ridiculous that at 10pm on a Friday night there are only 3 checkout lines open and at least 8-10 people standing in line. No one is even trying to get the customers taken care of. Any other place would call additional cashiers to open lines. Not even self serve lines open.

Clean store with excellent selection. The fruit and veggies looked nice. The garden center was stocked with healthy and pretty plants. Okay employees. Subway inside. Love the self check outs.

It is a nice, clean, well stocked Walmart. They always have plenty of registers open which is rare for a Walmart. Employees are friendly. Most importantly to me, they were very good in an emergency when my 3 year old daughter wondered off while I was checking out (I thought my teenage son was watching her). I went into full screaming panic. The employees had a procedure in place, got on their walkie talkies and found her (all the way across the store in the toy section of course) within 1-2 minutes. I was beyond grateful.

Management is horrible. Can't even place the weekly ad out. When asked I was told that they haven't had time. And the lady was rude about it. If you hate your job then find work somewhere else. This has to be the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been too. It just keeps disappointing as well. All management from the store manager (who has absolutely ZERO customer service skills) should be replaced.

This Walmart has the potential to be a great place to shop & to work. The cashiers & associates are always friendly and willing to help. However, you can definitely tell they are stressed out and/or perhaps overworked & underpaid. There is a presence of too many chiefs and not enough indians; the revolving door is evident. Self checkouts are a great addition, for those who know how to use them. And putting the lottery machines there is a huge mistake. Walmart is all about placing profits before people which is fine if that's what your business model is all about. Walmart better step up their game if they want to compete with Whole Foods/Amazon.

This Walmart was convenient until they installed the "scan and go" check outs to replace employee jobs. Now they always have congested lines (no one wants to use that scan and go garbage). And what used to be "speedy 20 item or less are un-manned like a ghost town. This walmart just set itself back years in customer service. Way to bigbusiness it walmart! Update 10-23-16: So here I am at the same Walmart at 10 o'clock in the morning to pick up a cake that I ordered a week ago. Its my sons 7th birthday and his cake is not ready. The lady at the bakery was kind enough to ask me to shop for five more minutes while she threw it together. I'm so sure it's going to be made with care, not! This Walmart is the worst Walmart I have ever been to.
