We are evacuees from the Tampa area from Hurricane Milton and I was concerned he would be more anxious considering the stress we've experienced in the last week. I can't say how grateful I am that this was a calm experience for our pup. Leslie at the front counter was also extremely helpful and kind while we were there. I would highly recommend this location for any adoring pet owner. Thanks to you both for one less stressor in this difficult time.

509 E John Sims Pkwy, NicevilleI have been in the area since 2007, and I have 6 German Shepherds, that are basically my children. I was using another vet, who sold out to a large corporation and with that the company lost my trust and favor. I have found my new home with Dr. Jenny, she is absolutely amazing! Not only did she take in new patience’s (mind you 6 large GSD), I also had an emergency that need attention and she got me in immediately. I should have been going to her for the last 16 years (hindsight is 20/20) I would have been much happier and so would have my babies. Her staff is unbelievable, those girls work so hard and have so much love for animals it melted my heart they were with my boy every step of the way and answered ALL of my questions and went beyond what they needed too. My heart and family now belongs to Niceville Animal Clinic with Dr. Jenny and her wonderful assistants, I have faith back in the actual veterinarian creed and Dr. Jenny’s standing on what is best for the animal!!! . Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Bluewater Bay Animal Hospital: Harris David DVM
4400 FL-20 STE 401, NicevilleFrom when we walked in, the service was a delight. The ladies at the counter were friendly and eager to assist. The vet tech was knowledgeable and friendly, and treated our pup well. The vet was well spoken and explained everything we needed while examining the dog. Would highly recommend for others, as we will be making it our regular vet.

509 E John Sims Pkwy, NicevilleI started going to Niceville Animal Clinic in 2020 during the COVID lockdown because they were the only vet clinic I could find that would take new patients. I had just moved here a few months earlier and needed a vet. Every visit has been a pleasure with Dr Jenny and her staff. Yea a couple times I've waited a little longer than some people might find acceptable, but they are busy and always do their best to provide the fastest service possible. Plus they are taking care of animals that many people see as family members, and if they take an extra few minutes to treat and animal it's better then rushing through and making a mistake. My last visit they got me in a room ahead of my appointment time! Even though I live 45 minutes away I'll still continue to goto Niceville animal clinic as long as I live here.

Midbay Veterinary Hospital
4690 E Hwy 20, NicevilleWe took our two dogs, Apollo (a German Shepherd) and Archer (a Lab mix), to Midbay Vet Clinic for several years, and they were absolutely amazing! The team always took their time with Archer, who can be a bit nervous with new people and settings, making sure he felt comfortable. Anytime we had any unexpected issues, they were able to see us quickly and provided fantastic + personalized service every time.
We recently moved from Niceville to New Hampshire and were heartbroken to leave the Midbay team behind. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us and for supporting our boys over the years!

It’s always refreshing to eat here when traveling. It feels like a nice home cooked meal. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Make sure you try their cookies!! The chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie is my fave!!

1083 US-98, DestinThe food was insane. I ordered the Philly with crazy fries. The sandwich was loaded with tender, flavorful steak and the sauce was perfect. The fries were crispy with the right amount of seasoning, bacon, and drizzle — literally addictive. Portion size was great and everything tasted fresh. 113 E John Sims Pkwy, NicevilleMy wife and stepson got off a plane and I had to take them somewhere scenic with seafood in the town of Niceville. The Local's met both criteria. The restaurant is out on the bay with lots of yachts and tables set outside for those photos with your wishing to be yours yacht. Inside, the decor would make you think of a good Ole bar and dining room on the sea. The menu is diverse enough for seafood and non-seafood lovers, like myself. I debated between the meatloaf and reuben. It seems like the Reuben is one of their signature dishes and you can have it made with meatloaf, brisket, or redfish. I decided to have the best of both worlds and went with the meatloaf on the reuben. Excellent choice as the meatloaf was wrapped in bacon, nice and thick, and paired well with the Russian dressing. The best part of the sandwich was the provolone cheese. The rest of my party ordered the redfish reuben, shrimp plate, and fish tacos and seemed to be pleased. Sweet tea was fresh-brewed and refreshingly sweet! I wish I had room for their homemade key lime pie but had to skip on it. The Local's is sure to please everyone with their menu and scenic view.

Jen was bright and cheerful, and did a great job of guiding us through the menu and pointing out specialties. I had the penne pasta with Italian sausage, and my wife had the lasagna. Both were really good. Salad comes with your meal, and their homemade house dressing is my new favorite salad dressing! I look forward to trying their pizza. They also have outside seating. I haven't gone to brunch on Sunday, but their menu looks great and the prices are extremely reasonable. Recommended!
