My experience at Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Niceville, Florida today.
I'm uncertain if I'll return to this store after my initial visit.
During checkout, the cashier invited me to join their loyalty program, which I politely declined. Subsequently, when I requested my military discount, I was told it was exclusively available to program members. This requirement diverges from my experiences at other stores, where presenting my military ID sufficed. Advertising a military discount, only to condition it upon joining their program, strikes me as insincere. While I understand stores may opt not to offer military discounts, attaching conditions undermines the gesture. My concern lies with the store's policy.
