This vet clinic is great. They are very responsive, helpful, and provide you with quotes and opinions for treatments so you can decide what is best for you and your pet. They never make you feel bad if you can't afford certain options.

The staff was wonderful to our family as we had to make a hard decision for our beloved family cat of 12 years. They were very sympathetic to our grief and helped us provide care to her with dignity. We will never forget their compassion towards Pixie and to us. Its hard when your family pets become family members and it is time to say goodbye to them. We will always be grateful.

I love AVC. Moved here recently from south Florida and I am so glad I was recommended to them. Everyone is so nice and they don't do a bunch of unnecessary tests.

I waited 2 hours past my appointment time for my very scared cat to be seen. Dogs were uncontrolled in the waiting room. Workers were rude. The vet opened the door and shut it times when we finally got into the room, without saying anything. Many female voices were heard laughing and joking while we were waiting. Not really affordable, either.

They were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, my baby had a negative reaction to her vaccines but, they were very nice and helped my baby feel better!

The most amazing staff of any vet clinic I have ever been too! They are all so kind and genuinely love what they do! I could never pick another vet clinic even after I moved farther away ?

I’ve never had a 100% amazing experience at a veterinarian office until bringing my dog to this clinic. They gave me so much information upfront, especially regarding price, their prices were super reasonable and they even quoted me the most reasonable price I found for teeth cleaning was also very open with me about his feelings on whether I should go with a one or a three year vaccine for my dog, she’s a small dog and I was worried about a few things. Gladdy, Dr. Hart’s assistant, was very sweet and gentle with my nervous little pup, and very comforting for me, I highly recommend trying these folks out, your first office visit is free, and the women working at the front desk are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

From the time of check in to check, the staff is great with my furbaby. They are all very friendly and patient with her. The Dr gave some great recommendations for Tootie.

Customer service is absolutely horrendous. Snotty, better than you attitudes every time I’ve called. Terrible service. Do not recommend. I would highly recommend choosing somewhere different for your animals.

I have tried so many vets in Gainesville and none of them compare to Dr. Marlene. She's so compassionate and caring, plus she understands that although we love our pets, we are not going to spend a fortune on them. She's very knowledgeable and every time I am there I don't wait long.
Update: since they moved and some company took over, it is not the same anymore. Dr. Marlene still practices there but not too much. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable but it is not family owned anymore and it shows. We went somewhere else.
