My 1st visit I was given the newbie who had to ask questions from the other stylists. She did a good job so I continued to go. However, I realized after a few visits that she had changed my hair style that I'd had for 18 yrs. I'd been to many stylists & never had a change made to my style. I called to complain & was offered an appt with another stylist. The manager gave me a bottle of shampoo for my troubles. WOW! After the high prices I paid to have my hair style changed this was a smack in the face. The new stylist tried hard to accommodate me but after $200 I was further insulted by no improvement in my style. To make matters worse she commented that stylists have their own way of styling. To CHANGE A STYLE THAT WORKS WELL?????

I wanted the hair to frame my face, but also be more masculine, and the haircut i got didn’t frame my face, and looked like a haircut you would give a 50 year old woman. I’m sourly disappointed. I had high hopes for this place.

I'm visiting from Chicago and needed my hair touched up and my brows done. I went to Waves and went to Meghan S. She was absolutely amazing. My hair was touched up perfectly and my brows were tinted and waxed. Not only did she do an amazing job but I had such an enjoyable time with her. She's 30 and I'm 74 and we had a ball together. Not only was Meghan so nice and fun, but the receptionist was the most welcoming and friendly person ever. While waiting for my husband to pick me up, I ran to the liquor store next door to buy some wine to drink while my husband and were going to sit on the ocean tonight. When I bought my wine, I also bought a small bottle of wine for the receptionist to take home with her. I highly recommend this salon. I went here 2 years ago while vacationing but I totally enjoyed it so much more this year. Please give it a try and ask for Megan S. She's a totally professional. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Megan and her team are absolutely phenomenal! They did hair and makeup for me, my family, and 6 of my bridesmaids for my wedding last week. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they catered to every single girl and the style they wanted. They have the cutest salon dog, Pearl, and the energy in the salon is so upbeat! This is my third time coming to salon and they now have a customer for life. Whether it’s a haircut, color, wax, or wedding party these girls got you covered. The best in the business in new Smyrna beach area. Thank you, Megan and team. You made me feel like such a princess on my wedding day.

I have been a customer of Waves for many years. My stylist ( Trish ) has been styling my hair for 24 years. She is simply fantastic. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone there makes you feel like you are part of the "family." Always on time & very professional. ✂️?♂️✂️

Linda has been cutting my hair for about a year and I can honestly say she’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I have curly hair that is straight on top and have always been frustrated by getting the right cut that was easy to style and let my curls do their thing. Linda is so easy to work with and understood how to shape my hair so that it maximized my curl and looked so cute. Linda is a mature stylist with many years of experience, I highly recommend her! I’m sadly moving and will greatly miss her touch. Linda is wonderful!

Unfortunately, my 91 year old mother in law was not satisfied with the service. The hairstylist gave her beach waves, which is extremely popular. Right now, but she felt as if her hair was only half-finished. Wish she would have shared her disappointment at the time.

I was a walk in and the girl that was upfront seemed to ignore me at first. She finally acknowledged me and asked what I needed. I told her I had a last minute event come up and asked if they could fit me in. She seemed like this was a great chore but went to a couple of the stylists in the back and asked. She came back and said no one could fit me in and she couldn't do it because she was just filling in up front and she was going to lunch as soon as the other girl got back. Her name was Erin and I'm pretty sure I heard one of the other ladies tell her to take me because she didn't have anyone. My first and last trip there.Service: Haircut
