“I spent Labor Day weekend at The Black Dolphin Inn. I was so excited to get a reservation, as I had tried to several times before on holidays and they were always booked. I was also very relieved to find that they had pet friendly rooms. In fact the entire town is very pet friendly. I can’t say enough about the Inn itself. It’s quaint, clean, perfectly located and the views are spectacular. True to its name you can watch the dolphins frolic and play in the inlet. The staff was one of the best things about the property. I was greeted by Taylor, who showed me around and helped get me and my dog settled. Jennifer, who manages and lives on site, was an absolute joy! She clearly loves the Inn and enjoys sharing it’s history as well as some of the local history. She helped me find things to do around town and suggested places to eat. My overall experience was the best bed and breakfast stay I’ve ever had. It was like visiting family instead of just an accommodation. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a bed and breakfast experience. I plan to return very soon.
