My wife and I stopped in here this afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality, selection, and the prices. If you're looking for furniture, paintings, lamps, an abundance of knickknacks. I think they have a good selection of scented oils also. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the comfortable furniture, and the friendly conversation. Don't be fooled by the buildings appearance it is bigger than it looks. If your decorating stop here first.

Love your store. Hey Rember that guy that had a towel over his face the one who broke the glass and had been bleeding and bragging about what he did. Well I was told every cop in new Symrna then knew who he was. The towel is his sweat towel he always has one he sweats alot. I know there had to have been blood at your place. They told me they would check that they didn't. They told me he wouldn't be able to mess with me for turning him in. They told him and he's made my life horrible since. His name is Buddy Collins he harrassed me just today. He told my husband I was cheating on him It was a lie. He says he going to Robb other places brags to my husband. He sits out at the canal st. Food Mart. It's right by the railroad tracks. Yep he sits there everyday. The police have never helped me deal with his threats to kill me.

This a really nice store. Especially for beachy furnishings and accessories. We bought 3 lamps that will go into our Latitude Margaritaville home. Their prices are fair and responsible as well.

We were visiting New Smyrna Beach for the day and, having never been, stopped by their historic downtown area on Canal St. We stopped into Southern Trends to check it out. It's a very nice furniture/decor store, especially if you're looking for beachy or Florida decor/furnishings. There are two levels of the store, so there was a lot to look at. Each section was nicely presented, and they had a good selection of everything at decent/comparable prices. I took a few photos of items of interest to see how they'd look at home.

I've had the pleasure of shopping in Southern Trends the past few years for great gifts, accessories, and art work, and have always loved visiting this locally owned store. Today, I had the opportunity to order furniture for our new home, which is currently under construction.I met with Designer, Debbie, so personable and professional, and she was able to find exactly what I had in mind. I will happily wait for my furniture to be built to my specifications, knowing I will be getting high quality, well built furniture at a fair and reasonable price. I felt very safe and comfortable during my visit, much more so than a shopping trip to a "Big" Store, or even the grocery store.I highly recommend anyone shopping along Canal Street to drop in and browse. It is much more than a furniture store, as you can see from my photo, I couldn't leave there today without buying this unique magnetic art piece, which will find a spot in my new home.

My husband and I have had the same furniture for over 10 years now. We are getting older and a power lift recliner was recommended to us. Cathy was able to point us in the right direction and we found a beautiful recliner in the perfect color to match our home. We ordered 2, (his and hers, mine is a smaller version than my husbands). We were delighted with the service and friendly, safe and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend Southern Trends.
