I had a not so great experience with Seward Accounting. I tasked them with my 2022 taxes, paid almost $750 and my taxes were not filed. They claimed to try and notify me that they had to mail them in (they apparently didn’t do it electronically) and I wasn’t able to claim my son as a dependent, I never had even a missed call from them. The post mark when my tax paperwork was mailed was dated January 31st 2024. It in turn cause me a huge headache with filling my 2023 taxes because the IRS declined my 2022 tax return due to a missing signature. Now I’m faced with the penalties. Not happy.

Kirstyn got our taxes done super fast and she was really friendly. I had A LOT of questions and multiple emails that overlapped each other going back & forth with her and she handled it all and got me quick answers and finished the process with ease. Thanks to Kirstyn at Seward Accounting & Tax, I can now sleep at night.Honestly, I had created an incredible mess for myself and as a result I was driving myself crazy.Kirstyn looked over my books, got everything straightened out and taught me how to help myself.Kirstyn and her husband Matt are an amazing team and I highly recommend them to everybody. Kirstyn is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped me navigate the scary QBO to make sure my books are on point! She’s very patient and works hard to educate me on how to manage the books for my business as opposed to just doing it for me and I so appreciate the knowledge I’m gaining.

Seward’s top notch website makes doing finances easy, plus they have super fair pricing! In my case and many others, this includes not only personal tax filing but business taxes, bookkeeping, etc. as well. I highly recommend this accounting service! The owners are great people, who are very involved in the community and charitable giving.
