Very nice, well-stocked bait shop. They had shrimp whereas our "usual" bait shop didn't ( that 2 x now). Needless to say we will be going to NSB bait and tackle from now on

A great tackle shop with a great staff. I was visiting my brother for a few months with my 92 year old dad the staff at NSB Bait &Tackle were unbelievable in helping us catch fish.

This is a good place to get bait. If you are taking your kid fishing and you need frozen shrimp, this is the place to go in New Smyrna. If you need to buy a last minute silver spoon, some other lure, or line, forget it. It's way over priced. You know, to be fair, this is not something exclusive to NSB Bait and Tackle. Tackle stores all over the coast all charge to much for everything, except maybe Whitey's down near the Sebastian Inlet. It's common, however, it's a little annoying.Otherwise, the staff is relatively friendly. Sometimes, as a woman, I feel like staff occasionally look at me like "what am I doing there?", but the vibe is pleasant here. My kid loves to watch all the bait and enjoy the sights and smells of it, too. And, if you need frozen bait, this is definitely a place to go!If they lowered the prices on incidentals, I'd be glad to give them 5 stars, however as it stands, I'll keep it at 4.

Great bait shop. Average prices for bait shops but they do hook you up with some good sized shrimp.
