Although I did not have a car I was charged for parking both nights.Hampton does not enforce handicapped parking, causing grief to guestsItemized bills not availableLaundry service is expensive and they were out of suppliesAC wouldn’t adjust and front desk wouldn’t send help to roomBoring breakfast offeredMy discount was not honoured, I did not see it on my billNoteworthy details: I would never recommend this hotel to anyoneThey do not care about your comfort

We first stayed with this hotel for our 14th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience! Super clean rooms, great breakfast and great curb appeal. We are hilton honors members so were able to get the room on points for a very reasonable amount. After such a great experience we have continued to stay when we are up that way for baseball tournaments. Hampton Inn New Smyrna Beach continues to impress. We absolutely look forward to our next stay!

Was there this weekend for a seminar and loved this place, front staff was great, VERY comfortable bed, very clean and it was quiet in my unit. I would definitely come back. It is located in a great area you can walk to everything!

I stay at a lot of Hilton hotels and this one I would not come back to. It’s a great location and the service is ok. But the rooms are terrible. Very basic, nearly empty of furniture and amenities so much that the room echoes. There is no refrigerator so you have to drop your leftovers at the front desk. And the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the hallway and adjacent rooms. So much so that I knew I didn’t have to set an alarm because my neighbor was getting up at 6 am by hearing their conversation through the wall and knew I would be woken up by them. Overall would not stay here again especially for the price.Nearby activities: Location is great. Right in the downtown and a quick walk to shopping, dinning and the beach.Walkability: Location is great. Right in the downtown and a quick walk to shopping, dinning and the beach.

Too expensive. No fridge. No microwave. Loud like a prison. And the t.v. cable blows. For the amount of money your going to spend, spend it somewhere else.

We spent 2days there and got a bill for $42 for parking at the hotel! We were shocked. Never been charged for parking at any hotel we have stayed at. Never going there again.

Great hotel to stay at. The rooms are well kept, the staff is nice and there's plenty of parking. Only a 5 minute walk to the ocean and lots of little stores nearby to check

Perfect walking distance to the beach, friendly staff, good service. And they had a very friendly baby rooster who was adorable, his name was Hamp.

Although the location is only .4 miles from a great beach, the hotel people were not very friendly and do not seem to recognize Hilton Honors guests. Also, not there is minimal parking that is $20 plus tax for parking overnight.Nearby activities: Great beach nearby.

Great location; very good hot breakfast. Too expensive, parking was not included, guests were loud at 1am and had to call front desk twice to deal with it and were not offered any discounts. The room was very clean and comfortable beds, however, I was not aware that there was no fridge and no microwave in the room and for the price we paid they should have them in all rooms. Also, they close the pool way too early as it is a hotel near the beach and when it is nighttime one would like to enjoy the pool at a later hour. I would not stay here again.Nearby activities: Couple of yards from New Smyrna Beach great location..near shops and restaurants.

Great location and proximity to Canal street and beaches.Area was tight and mostly concrete. I would have liked to see more natural areas near the beach. Even the undeveloped lots were concrete and dirt.Hotel was nice, good breakfast and their employees are very nice. The rooms were nice and comfy, but the carpet smelled old. Very noisy hotel. Avoid any rooms around the elevator and ice machines. This hotel had a massive parking lot for such a tight downtown area, but they charged 20$ a day for parking. They had plenty of room, it was never full. So, you daily rate is not 170 ish per night, it's more like 200 ish per night. If you are paying upwards of 200/night, please, parking should be included! That's a little tacky.

The location and architecture of this location is amazing. The location is very convenient to the beach and local shopping and dining all easily within walking distance. That said, the price they command for this location is ridiculous. I’ve paid less at luxury hotels. The service was adequate, though they are adamant on their parking policy.Their parking policy is ludicrous, you are only permitted ONE car per room and they charge $20 a night. If you have more than one vehicle it must be parked across the street in a dirt parking area with signs clearly stating “no overnight parking” with towing being an option. (The dirt lot is not owned by the hotel, btw). They do monitor this policy with fascist zeal and do heavily emphasize they will tow violators. The interior of the hotel looks nice, but the carpet in the hallways are dingy and dirty. There is also a smell of mildew in some areas. The rooms themselves are very clean and nice, however, in my particular room, the dresser was missing hardware which made opening the drawer difficult. The big problem I have with the rooms is the fact that there are no fridges in the rooms. For as much as you pay, that should be standard. The complimentary breakfast was good and varied in variety. The biggest complaint is that at certain times, the breakfast is busy and the serving area can be quite congested.Overall, this is nice Hampton Inn, but some improvements are desperately needed and the price is too much.

Sheets smelled like fish. No refrigerator, no microwave. Pool was closed the whole day and wasn’t able to use. Told us there was broken glass in the pool but saw a lady laying out by the pool anyways. Front desk blonde lady told me I looked “exhausted” when I walked in ??? Don’t recommendRooms: No fridge no microwave.

No microwave or fridge or safe in rms is a big turnoff. Breakfast can be better not many choices and quality. Beds not comfortable at all tossed and turned all night. Pool too small.

Cute and quaint location. Rooms were clean and fresh. Hotel is convenient for walking to all the local shops in New Smyrna Beach.
