In desperate need of grab bars so my elderly father can return to his home from Hospital. Money is tight and home depot on 44 wants $17-$18 for new. Then i thought about restore, surely a donation funded non profit would have a reasonable price for a used item, especially a disability aid item.
WRONG!
$20 A PIECE FOR USED GRAB BARS.
Y'ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
STAY AWAY FROM CORPORATE GREED THAT HIDES BEHIND THE GUISE OF COMMUNITY CARE AND CHARITY!

The people who work there are very friendly, the store is always clean as well as all the items that are for sale... Very nice place to browse and find an assortment of all kinds of items that you won't be able to find elsewhere ?

this used to be my favorite thrift store to go to. I would always find something that I loved. Lately, the staff are very rude. Everything seems to be over priced and if you find something without a price tag on it instead of pricing it for you, they take it from you and tell you you can’t buy it. Since when to thrift stores do that? when asking the staff about their huge price increases they say they research the product, this is not an antique store. It is supposed to be a nonprofit thrift store to get things at a reasonable price to help people in need. another thing with their outrageous pricing you think he would be able to try things on but ever since Covid they never opened up the fitting rooms again, before I pay an outrageous price I would like to make sure something fits?

The store is clean, well set up and organized. If you a lucky you might even be greeted by the stores on premises cat ?. The staff is friendly and available to answer questions. I had a bunch of clothes to try on and they allow 3 items at a time. The lady sat down outside the dressing room door next to my cart and we worked in sync to trade out the clothing I had tried on sorting into a keep neatly folded pile and put back on the rack hang up group. I also wondered into the warehouse/barn to take a look see as well. Very nice, pleasant experience.

So this place USE to be a great place to go to score some decently priced used goods, now I walk in and am greeted with a $150 pricetag on a beat up keyboard from the 80's? Everything is starting to be overpriced...and for you guys to say you research things? No... you're not EBAY... you're a domations place.
Well I am taking MY donations elsewhere. This is turning into Goodwill.
I have come in multiole times and found stuff that I ACTUALLY WANTED and it didn't have a price tage and instead of offering me a price or receiving an OFFER you all just FLAT OUT REFUSE to sell it to me, which to be quite frank, is jacked up.
I have purchased two over priced appliances, and a few RC cars that didn't work. Kinda disappointed at the direction this place is going.
The building outback is also ridiculously overpriced.
I think you all need to go back to your old pricing strategy. Like I said, you're not an online retailer. You're a donations place. I would gladly give you $20 for $15, but I won't pay $30, for a $20.
Thanks anyways. Greed is Greed.

This Habitat ReStore is always great and we always find something that we can't live without LoL. The people are always very nice and we stop there whenever we get down that way. I found a great Cigar Ashtray there today at a very good price.

For a place that brags about getting free donations and helping low income people this place is sooo expensive I mean Walmart has cheaper furniture how is that helping people ? You get things for free and take full profit. Also every time I come to donate they are closed earlier than 2 and they are rude. I would way rather recycle then buying more waste from Walmart but I don't really have a choice. I try to call during business hours to make sure I can donate before coming in and the phone says I called after hours and then won't direct me to the automated messages just says "we are unable to complete this request" just really unfortunate customer service in our town
