This review is for the dollar tree off of SR44 in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I just moved to this area and when I went to the dollar tree, I expected to find the things that I needed-The dollar tree that I used to live near was always very reliable. I have only been here three times and never did they have what I needed! When I walked in, I noticed that the store was in quite disarray, and there were numerous empty shelves. I was not able to find one thing on my list at the store as everything seemed to be out of stock and rummaged through. Their medical section was very barren. Their canned good section also did not have a good amount of different types of food. Like I said, most of the shelves had nothing on them in the canned-good section. I will not be coming back to this store! If the population here requires more items, why aren’t they in stock? I think somebody needs to check into this!

I stopped going into this Dollar Tree for the reasons below.
So, its been months and i was in a pinch so i decided to try this store again. Going against my better judgement.
After months of not going to this Dollar Tree store anymore on 1952 State Road 44 New Smyrna Beach Regional, New Smyrna.
NOTHING has changed for the better!
The lights ARE NOT all on, which makes it very hard to see. THIS IS ALL THE TIME for MONTHS and MONTHS!!!
It's definitely a problem!
When I ask about the lights, I get a flood of excuses...
oh, they are fixing the lights, oh, we have no control of the lights, corporate turns them on and off...and the list of excuses go on...its ridiculous!!!
It's VERY HOT in the store ALL the time as well. Not to mention they DO NOT have alot of stuff that the other Dollar Trees have.
These things really need to addressed.
They should have ZERO stars but I had to check one to write the review.

The dollar tree is mostly good, but their is this one lady that works there that gives everybody a problem. She's is snobby and bratty and you can tell she hates everyone and her job. I've been to this dollar tree and handful of times and everytime I go she's there, I always start a conversation with a "Good Morning, how are you?" And she always gives attitude back with a "mornin'" just today, I came in there for change for a 50 after spending 17 something dollar, the change was about 33 and she didn't have change for it and it was all I had on me. I explained it was all I had on me and she was like "well I don't have change for it so that's too bad." And then she just went to another lady to get the change. I thanked her and told her to have a good day and she grumbled and went "mhmm" just a bad women with a bad attitude that ruins the vibe of the whole place.

I guess they finally got someone to actually work. The place is looking 100% better. Putting things in order yea lots better. I just hope they can keep them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I wasn’t even sure it was open when I walked in because it was so dark. Every other row of lights was off. The shelves were bare. This seems to be a trend with Dollar Tree. The company doesn’t seem to spend anything on maintenance or staff.

Everything is very messy and not organized whatsoever. Items just laying all on the floor. Had to dig through stuff piled on the shelves like a thrift store. It’s a shame since they are in a very nice shopping plaza. All they need to do is clean up, or hire more help and it would be nice.

Only one person at checkout. There was another employee on the floor. Was told, she only works the floor, when there was at least 14 people in line. I saw some people see the line when they walked in and then walked right back out.

well took my Stars back went in and started to shop and then asked for a key for bathroom mine you men's and women's at least 3 working and both bathrooms NOt working one looked confused the other 2 well were nasty

ZERO STARSstore SMELLSthe cashiers ARE THE MOST OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE IN NSBThe manager (Spanish lady) used to be cheerful, helpful and nice, USED TO BEthe store is FILTHY AND SO MESSYFix it up, engage with your customers. The workers are horrible people. I will keep going to port orange dollar treeJust shut NSB down since everyone that works there hates it so much

The store is well stocked and attractively displayed. The staff is always friendly and helps finding a product that may have just arrived and not yet put on the shelves. Tish is the Freight Manager and always very customer friendly and helpful Marla as a cashier is a genuinely happy and smiling employee. The pet food and cleaning supplies offer a wide selection. The hours are comfortable. The customers are loyal to this store and so a relationship has developed between staff and customers. Good job!!
