BeachSyde Syren is a cute gift shop on Flagler Avenue with a fun mermaid theme.They have hats, decor, T-shirts, jewelry - all the things you expect from a souvenir shop at the beach and of course, some special goodies like mermaid tails!What sets the shop apart from the typical chain is how nice the associate was. I’m not sure if she was the owner but she shared some kind words with my daughters and I was happy to purchase the items they were looking at. It’s refreshing in these times to have a nice interaction while shopping because it rarely happens anymore. I’d rather pay more to a small business that offers a great customer experience any day.
