Don’t know about the other employees or general service here but had a great experience with Bill.Straightforward, honest, and friendly guy that was very clear about the steps to rent a car. Didn’t try to sell anything, just clear and to the point.

Small satellite office, with only one employee, and that translates into RUN FOR COVER... The worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. The employee was rude, would not listen and threated to call the Police on me and my neighbor who was there to give me a ride back home. So I called the Police on the non-emergency number. They came out and wrote an incident report that was not very favorable to this individual/employee.Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. You will never no the grief you spared yourself by going somewhere else.

Took our money for a Van online reservation $392. When I went to pick up the van at 10am it was not there. I returned at 4pm to be told they need a major credit card. Now I wait 7 or business days for my refund and have no vehicle. The young lady at the counter had a very nasty attitude towards every question I had trying to work this out.My wife was surprised at how I stayed composed dealing with this young lady.I would’ve felt a lot better if the young lady would have shown some respect in her tone and better customer service skills. I’m here complaining more about her attitude than even losing the rental. May I say even Avis/Budget 800 customer service was a zero star. Thanks for hearing me out, now I’m going to celebrate Festivis and air my grievances… Happy Holidays

The front desk help very unprofessional. They make up false charges to collect money, we reserved a truck weeks in advance, upon arrival there was no truck available. The receptionist was willing to let me walk out with out a vehicle while on vacation, claimed no vehicles avail. Going to leave I’m stopped suddenly they only have a car I say that won’t work, I need more space and like magic an SUV becomes avail.Whatever we take it I ask am I being charged for the truck still since I’m getting a smaller vehicle absolutely he says I say whatever and allow it. I let the few extra dollars slideWe rent the car for 3 days 200$ I have to add on a day or two they tell me my total 324 and some change, okay no problem.I end up cleaning the rental out filling it with a tank of gas and returned early and they charges my credit card 492$ after it was done for “miscellaneous fees” this location is a scam. The employees acted like they could not be bothered. Stay away from this establishment

***AVOID AVOID AVOID***Updating after speaking to corporate, the charges were not their fault, but the way the handled it and treated us is absolutely their fault. We ordered a rental in the app and set up pickup for 15 minutes later. We decided because we were driving past it and made a spur of the moment decision to spend money at that business. As a business you would think that would be a huge victory. Instead we were treated like we were bothering them.Once arriving the guy expressed his displeasure that we gave them our business and even turned around In front of us and told the other worker to never take a rental that came through quick again. We were told they didn’t have a car then they did have a car.I was charged $500 more than expected (not their fault) I called them for help and was told with a nasty attitude if I cancel the agreement I’ll never be allowed to rent from them again. We simply just wanted help. I was told I was not allowed to turn my car in early. I called back and was given a completely different response from someone else. We come to new Smyrna every year and have never ever experienced someone treating us this way.***if you are the owner of this business you need to really inspect and coach the people that are working there. You need to inspect what you expect for the way your customers are treated. This is not the way.Completely rude and unwelcoming.Go elsewhere where your giving someone your business is appreciated. ***AVOID AVOID AVOID***

Terrible experience, both the guy and girl there ( new Smyrna beach Dixie hwy)were extremely rude and unprofessional. I would beware if you are a citi corp leisure travel customer as it doubles your price over and above the estimated price and then if you call customer service you get different answers depending on who you speak with

Rented 07/03/23 Warning!!!, take pics before and after, especially the gas gauge. They tried to charge me $17.00 more after I returned the car. I got the vehicle with7/8 (14.3 gallons), returned above full and took a pic with 15.3 gallons and they tried to charge me for gas. Make sure you write down ALL the damage, even the smallest mark on the vehicle and look for a cracked windshield. If you do not do this Avis may try to charge you later, even 6 months down the road so keep your pics. I called customer service and made a claim so this is documented. Customer service did refund me my money for the gas because I had pictures.UPDATE 07/25/23. Just as I thought, they charged me $324.00 for the cracked windshield. Had to call customer service to dispute this charge. Unbelievable, if I did not document the damage prior to leaving the lot and taking photos, I'd be screwed. I take back my my 2 stars and give them 0. Manager at this location is an a#$. Very poor poor customer sympathy and did not apologize, just gave excuses or I don't know answers.

Reservation was for a Kia Soul or similar...got a Toyota prius. Not even close. Very misleading. Won't rent here again. Office is filthy.

Rented a car here & was charged extra but didn't receive a receipt or explanation why (sketchy!) so I called and was told it was for gas, when I returned the tank completely FULL. This is my first & last rental from Avis. I'll stick to enterprise and Hertz.

First, only and probably the last time we use Avis. Upon arrival to pickup our rental car, the price changed on my husband 3 times. Upon entry into the building it was just a bad experience and very poor customer service. We got into the truck and it was also dirty with what appeared to be ketchup all over the door. We will be contacting Avis while not on vacation to see what can be done. Should have taken our money elsewhere.

Car readily available.The vehicle we received reeked of stale smoke. Febreze couldn’t cut it. Even multiple applications.The sickening funk made everything that came in contact with it reek of it.Even our 3 year-old grandchild, child seat, clothes, hair, everything!It was like we were unwilling participants of the Seinfeld BO episode.

This place is always a pleasure to do business with. All employees are so customer service oriented and the owner is a great guy and knowledgeable of his products and the working of the rental industry.
