I Can’t say enough good things about Dr.Cox and his staff! I am relatively new to the area and was referred by friends to Animal Clinic of New Smyrna. Dr.Cox and his staff where so kind , caring and compassionate. They answered all my questions and concerns and where very professional when I had a bit of an emergency with my dog . They are awesome . I highly recommend them.

Absolutely amazing!! Dr Cox was so thorough and informative. So glad that we made the switch away from the now corporately owned vet that we went to previously here in NSB!

Dr. Cox and his staff are AMAZING!!! He has been our vet for a lot of years!!! He loves what he does and that has always reflected in the care and well being of all of our animals throughout the years. Love Ya' Bunches!!!

My mother used Dr. Cox for many, many years and was so very happy with him. I originally called when I found my kittens, at approximately 3 weeks old, and tried to get an appointment, only to be told that they were booked months out and that I should look elsewhere, which I did.I thought I would try again when my kittens were about 10 months old wanting to get set up, as a new patient, for their annual check ups. I was told that I needed to wait and call back about two months prior to the anniversary of their original rabies vaccination (July 2021), because they would be due for their next round of shots, so I set a reminder to call again in May.When I called at the beginning of May I was told that they were not accepting new patients because of summer coming, vacations and the like. I tried to explain that I wanted an appointment several months down the road, but was still not allowed to make a future appointment. They don't need or want my business, I'm done trying.

New to area. Called and was answered with please hold. Right there they lost me. They should ask if it’s an emergency or can they place your call on hold. I asked about office visit charges and was told they aren’t taking any new clients at this time. I have 9 rescue cats and am finding it extremely difficult to get established with a vet. Guess I’ll have to drive 78 miles back up to Putnam Counry for our previous vet, or go to Poet Orange and pay emergency visit fee. Frustrated!

This is the best Veterinarian I have ever been to. Dr. Cox and all of his staff (Shelly and Sharron especially!) treat our dogs like family. Our dogs actually love going into the office. The staff is always able to squeeze us in if we have a problem that needs to be fixed. They are always a phone call away. They do not overcharge. I just cannot say enough good things about them. Highly recommend!

They did a very great job with my cat. I brought him in for an emergency. They brought him straight in. Medication and he's doing great! He has high blood pressure. I just want to add this because he lost his sight from this. So please have your pet checked. It's very fatal in cats which was new to me.
