They are very accommodating to our reactive German Shepherd Gus. It is tough to find a place that has boarding for a reactive dog, and we are truly grateful for this pet resort. Thank you!

My dog can be difficult and can also put other dogs on edge because of his intensity. After one extended visit, my dog came home with a massive contusion on the side of his head. It hurt for me to pet him there and was visibly raised. Another inch forward, he probably would have a broken jaw. While of course I don't know how it happened, the most likely would be a wack with the metal pole on the kennel gate by a frustrated employee when my dog was resisting going back into his kennel, which could be typical of him. The next time (I had no choice), he was bitten multiple times, through his ear, puncture behind his ear, multiple punctures in hind quarters. He absolutely is not dog aggressive, but very interested in sniffing others. I did not notice until I got him home, but they never said anything to me. When I emailed about these incidents, they did not respond.It is a large kennel, so employees can be impersonal at times just because they are busy. There are a lot of dogs in one area at a time. It is not possible for one employee, which is their mode of operation, to keep dogs safe from others, especially when she has multiple duties and does not watch or is not close enough at all times. I noticed these things on my short tour of the facilities.

The best kennel my pups have ever stayed at! We leave our dogs there every time we go out of town. The owners, Eric and Aletha, are the sweetest people and the rest of their crew are awesome with all of our dogs. Absolutely love them and would recommend them over and over. :)

A great place. We were here from NC. Upon arrival we needed to board our Tyson for the day. Everyone was awesome and he had a great day! We will definitely be back when needed and Recommend highly!

This is the best place to board your furry four legged friend.My two doodles have a great holiday, well fed and entertained.You can get them groomed before you pick them up and there is training available as well.

I am not sure there are enough words to say how extremely fabulous a&e pet resort is. From the moment I called to gather information, the staff was so friendly and very informative. I will say that I would have been annoyed with myself for how often I called in the week leading up to our pets stay, but the staff remained friendly and did not seem annoyed one bit. My husband and I were very thankful to have such caring staff to take care of our boy Oakley. Dee, the trainer, was the most comforting and sweetest person. She sent updates with pictures/videos daily which eased our minds. On day of pickup, she spent more than the time allotted going over what she taught that week. We are very grateful for all the staff working there, but would like to recognize Jessica, Hayley, Michelle, and Dee for their outstanding customer service. Thank you for everything! Would recommend this pet resort to anyone!

I’m so glad we found A&E! Our new Doodle pup Toccoa was just a tad too big for her britches and running all over our sweet lab Tallulah One week with Dee worked wonders and she gets along just fine with Tallulah. She is also a regular at day care and occasionally boards and has an absolute blast playing with the other dogs. The entire staff is super friendly too. Couldn’t recommend A&E more.

Pretty sure our dog would live there if she could, lol. Awesome facility, with an amazing staff. Boarded our dog for 10 days, and had her groomed. She absolutely loved it!

Excellent boarding and day care center for dogs. We rescued a dog who has a tendency to be aggressive and A&E assured us and proved that he could still be cared for by them. Whenever we have advance notice of going out of town. We always use them.

Let’s talk about Training with Dee and Caroline! My almost 2 year old pup did the board and train with these ladies. Apollo had some good training in the past, but needed some reminders and some serious training on focusing and obedience. I’ve never been able to get him to lay down or “place” and lately he wouldn’t even go near his crate. He’s doing amazing now thanks to these loving and dedicated ladies! They worked with him and loved on him every day for 10 days! I’m so proud! But that’s not all! They take the time to educate me as well. They had me practice before I would leave. They explained why and how things needed to be done. I’ve learned so much in just the past 10 days! Top notch training and top notch people who seriously LOVE our pets! As far as A&E Pet Resort goes - These are some of the most loving, kind people on the planet! Always welcome us with a smile and even a hug! They’re not just a business, they’re like a family!

We cannot recommend Dee enough for canine training ! Dee trained our one year old puppy Maui, after battling impulse control and pulling on the leash when we walk, for the last year. We are amazed at the progress she has made in a week. Thank you again, Dee, for your vast knowledge of canine behavior training, and your professionalism.

We dropped our dogs off on a moments notice so we were 100% thankful and impressed. It is a very well run operation by folks who truly care and when we’re back on NSB we will use them for sure.

Every time I think of A&E, I just smile. My husband and I have used A&E pet resort for our dog, Flash, for years. During the hurricane in October 2022, our house was flooded and we had to leave for renovations. Aleatha and her amazing team openly kept a spot available and took exceptional care of our boy for several weeks during renovations. I was 5-6 months pregnant during the time and their compassion for our situation was so relieving - true sense of community. The staff are very kind and the passion to work with animals is very clear. If you are looking to board your pet even just for the day, they will be in great hands at this beautiful facility.

The best kennel ever! And that review doesn’t come from us - it comes from our dog. We are always treated like family and never have to worry about our pet. When we turn on to the A&E property our dog jumps up and begins wagging her tail. She knows she is about to be pampered and spoiled. Thank you Eric and the entire A&E team!! We love A&E.
